Barbacoa — Restaurant in Boulogne-Billancourt

We were shocked by the attitude of one of the waitresses. The chopsticks served with the salad were planted upright into the bowl, which is a BIG no no in Japan (where I come from). It’s only done during funerary ceremonies so we NEVER serve food like this. They probably didn’t know this, and so I kindly let the waitress know that maybe they should consider an alternative for the future. She did not apologize and immediately answered “Unfortunately , we cannot always accommodate everyone”… I was shocked by her detachment and lack of attention over this situation which is deeply insulting.

When we left, she said bye to us with her mouth full of food…

Overall, our experience here was average. Although my fish dish was very good, the Asian styled salad was a little disappointing for the price. The sauce tasted like the ones that come from a supermarket. And overall very pricey for what it is.

I was very disappointed of this experience and will not return here...

Not what I expected. We went with friends to celebrate my birthday, it was a surprise so obviously when we saw each other we made some noice as it was unexpected... a couple of minutes later the waiter comes and asks us to lower our voice... really? So unfortunately all dinner we tried to lower our voices as the situation was really annoying and couldn't enjoy the dishes. The food was good, but the atmosphere not the best, I don't recommend this restaurant if you want to celebrate and make...

Très joli et chic restaurant dans une rue assez calme au cœur de Boulogne. Tables en terrasse.

Nous sommes venus pour l’apéritif : planche mixte charcuterie et fromages excellentes. Le vin était bon également.

Bémol au niveau du service et de l’accueil : une jeune femme nous refuse une table de 2 (nous étions 2) car elle était dressée pour le dîner. Elle nous propose donc de nous installer à une table de 4 plus loin. Attendons 5 minutes pour prendre la commande tandis que les autres personnes arrivant après nous étaient prise en charge de suite lorsque c’était pour le dîner. Avons du interpeller un jeune homme pour passer commande. Celui-ci nous demande ensuite si cela nous dérange de changer de table car nous sommes sur une table de 4. Nous n’avons pas changé au vu des événements précédents.

Je recommande donc cet endroit pour sa qualité mais l’accueil et le service laissent à désirer, c’est dommage.

**Obligée de modifier ma note (d’un 4/5 à un 2/5) au vu de la réponse du restaurant ci-dessous qui ment en indiquant que nous nous sommes installés sans nous présenter. C’est faux. Je me suis présentée à l’accueil, ai demandé la table de 2 que l’on ma refusée (je comprends, je ne me suis pas installée) et on m’a proposé n’importe quelle autre table. Une simple réponse aurait suffit sans inventer...
