The packaging was super careful-everything arrived neat and steaming, with the broth separate so the noodles didn't get soggy (always a good sign). The pho itself? Not the absolute best l've ever had, but it's a solid, satisfying bowl. The flavors are clean, the portions generous, and it totally hits the spot. What really stood out? They included a couple of tiny heart-shaped cakes topped with sesame seeds-such a sweet and unexpected touch that made the whole experience feel personal and thoughtful. Based in n other reviews we chose that one when there’re a lot of them in the area. The staff is welcoming, however the quality of the food is not there. I ordered some sauted noodles with beef and they really didn’t have the same taste as you can find in other restaurants. Then I had my heart set a a chicken Bo bun but unfortunately all of their Bo bun except 2 had lemongrass in it and it’s already prepared that way so no way to just take it out. I hate lemongrass. So had to settle for a breaded chicken bo bun and it wasn’t good, not bad but not good. The sauce they provide you isn’t the usual sauce. Our favorite Vietnamese in Boulogne ! We have been here several times both to eat in and get take away. We find the soups here delicious and good value for money, The service fast and friendly and the atmosphere like many of the restaurants we visited in Vietnam. Of course we wish there were more authentic dishes on the menu but understand that they have to cater to the local clientele who are not too adventurous.
