Delighted to have found Maison TOC in Carcassone for a family meal at the end of our holiday. The restaurant has a lovely interior and we thought the decor was very inviting. Tania is an excellent host and was very patient in explaining the menu to us in English.
The food was delicious. We had 3 courses and every dish was excellent. Particular highlights were the bone marrow starter, the salmon (which is marinated by the chef), the beef with chimichurri sauce and the chocolate fondant dessert.

The dining surroundings have been beautifully created. There was plenty of space between the tables whilst sitting in a friendly atmosphere. Un établissement ou l'on a compris l'importance de vraiment cuisiner. De proposer des assiettes créatives mais pas folles. De la justesse et des équilibres dans les saveurs. Je qualifierais cette cuisine de cuisine du monde, tant l'on peut passer d'un risotto de calamars à une coquillette truffée ou un mix de beaux morceaux de poulets marinés, frits ou épicés. Les sauces sont maison, la carte des vins est habile et la carte des mets est courte, c'est rassurant. Pour avoir testé les deux, aussi bien le midi pour un complet autour de 20€ que le vendredi soir autour de tapas, c'est un vrai coup de cœur. Bravo...
