The atmosphere and environment is charming and convivial, including an attractive space in which one might enjoy a relaxing cup of tea. Service is personal, friendly, efficient and well coordinated, offering a gastronomic experience, relaxing and agreeable.

Stumbled accross this delightful and unique eatery earlier. Stopped for a coffee to escape the intense heat and decided to return for lunch after concluding they most other eateries nearby were offering the same kind of choices for lunch .

Having returned we enjoyed the food immensely. Simple salads of burrata and Greek salad and mains of beautifully cooked white fish with seasonal fresh accompaniments. I had an absolutely wonderful breakfast at Freaks Bistronomie! The food was so delicious that I didn’t even have time to take a picture before finishing it. Luckily, I managed to snap a shot of the pancakes with honey—an absolute delight. Chef Mira surprised me with an improvisation, adding cherries, which took the flavors to the next level.

The interior design is the most inviting and cozy I’ve seen; it’s a place you never want to leave. A huge thank you to this fantastic café—I'd call it the heart of Carcassonne. Highly recommended...
