The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was a disappointment. Three of us had ordered the same food. One dish was served hot, one luke warm and one was hot in parts and frozen in others. At least it got reheated upon request. It was rather bland food and obviously premade. The forth dish was unexpectedly served with cilantro in the sauce, which the person that ordered that dish dislikes. The soup that was served as a appetizer tasted nice, but the pasta in it was very overcooked. Very honest opinion: Just came here for a quick bite and refreshment after visiting the castle. First brought our drinks wrong, ok no problem. After brought 4 panini’s wrong. (He had repeated the order to us and still brought it wrong how hard could it be..) After the mother of houses decided to yell to us that we were wrong and that we were free to leave haha wow. I had the misfortune of dining at L'Annexe Carcassonne recently, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The rudeness of the waiter was absolutely appalling. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with indifference and impolite remarks. The waiter seemed more interested in chatting with colleagues than attending to our needs.
