The epitome of a TOURIST TRAP!

Service & Price: The service was extremely poor. Our waitress in particular was not in good form, to say the least! Within 20 minutes of us arriving and sitting down we had witnessed three groups of people being treated without any respect. Pricing is ridiculously high when considering the lack of quality of food and the poor service. Obviously taking advantage of tourists visiting Chateauneuf.

HIGHLY RECCOMMEND: 'La Maisouneta', is a lovely restaurant, only 2 minute walk from this place. Great prices for fresh food and amazing service. They care about the food they serve and customer experience!

Food: My friend and I went for lunch here. Our meals were a disaster. We had to send back a dish two times as we thought it was vegetarian however there was meat on it when it arrived. Once we saw this we requested the dish to be made again however without meat. The waitress returned with a second dish which we eventually discovered was the exact same dish however the chef only removed the pieces of meat on the top of the salad... Bare in mind the waitress initially told us they would remake the salad, not remove pieces of meat from the top. We also ordered the chicken burger which was extremely average, at most. The fries were too hard to eat (frozen?), we left them behind.

Will be avoiding this place...

Dommage, je ne laisse jamais de mauvais commentaire habituellement, mais cette expérience était vraiment décevante.

Côté nourriture, rien n’était bon : la viande était beaucoup trop dure, les œufs mimosa commandés par mon père n’étaient pas du tout à son goût, et même les profiteroles étaient ratées. Seul le ceviche était à peu près correct.

Concernant le service, ce fut une catastrophe. Nous avons appelé à 21h pour nous assurer que la cuisine était encore ouverte, on nous a confirmé que le service continuait jusqu’à 21h30. Nous sommes arrivés à 21h20, donc bien dans les temps. La serveuse n’était pas agréable, mais comme on nous avait recommandé l’établissement, nous avons décidé de rester.

Nous étions les derniers clients, discutant avec nos voisins de table à qui un digestif a été offert. En fin de repas, nous avons demandé à goûter un digestif également. La serveuse en a ramené trois, alors que nous n’en avions demandé qu’un seul — mon père ne boit pas, donc c’était clairement une erreur. Sur l’addition, les trois digestifs étaient facturés. Nous avons alors expliqué qu’un seul avait été demandé et avons rendu celui de mon père.

À ce moment-là, la serveuse a commencé à parler de manière désagréable, en expliquant que nos voisins avaient eu un digestif offert parce qu’ils avaient commandé une bouteille à 100€, et que ce n’était donc pas la même chose. Franchement, facturer un digestif maison dans ces conditions, c’est mesquin.

Je comprends que la fin de service peut être fatigante, mais un minimum de professionnalisme est attendu. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. D’ailleurs, celui juste en face, dans lequel nous étions entrés par erreur au départ, semblait bien plus chaleureux et...

Generally fine. Every time I've been the staff is very friendly, efficient, and the space is fine. The food is just generally okay, but some things are definitely overpriced and I find you're better off doing their set menus instead of a la carte as you'll end up paying more for the latter and go away hungry. Very disappointed by the wines though. Selection is decent but the prices are exceedingly high for the small pours given and their storage machine is definitely causing oxidation.
