We had high hopes about our first restaurant visit In Chateauneuf du Pape but at Les C today, it wasn’t to be. The hostess was lovely. The new waiter Simon - not so much. He didn’t seem to want to be there. We ordered 2 different glasses of local wines which were excellent but very small pours- less than 10 cl (~ 3 1/2 ounces) which was disappointing for a 15 Euro glass, even tho the wine was excellent. My husbands steak/frite was just ok. My bowl of mussels arrived not steaming, not hot, but actually cool to the touch. Very disappointing- I’m accustomed to a large steaming bowl of delicious broth that I can use to dip the wonderful local bread, but not today. To top it off, The waiter never asked us if our meal was ok.

I had actually read in other reviews about short pours at Les C and about waiter Simon rolling his eyes at a customer’s request but I didn’t take it seriously. Unfortunately, we experienced both of those complaints ourselves today. Will not return. Au...
