We called in advance to ask if there was any vegetarian option for food, the answer “yes, we do!”. Upon arrival, we received the menu and the fixed menu price was 39€ for a starter, main and dessert BUT it wrote that vegetarian option did not include to this so we had to do ‘A la carte’ (which was no way logical). Starter was nice but then came the main course - what a joke! Most terrible vegetarian dish I’ve ever had in France, perhaps even ever! It was bunch of sad vegetables and legumes with zero harmony and we paid 28€ for it. I told the waiter that it was a disaster and he got mad, started to shake his arms in a macho way around like “i don’t really care” and said “this is not a vegetarian restaurant”. Options are simple: if you think that way, do not offer a lame option to people and don’t waste people’s money and time on a place like this. Such a shame because we had such wonderful vegetarian options in every sort of restaurant in all around Provence and Occitane! This was unacceptable but we still had to pay 28€ for this dish attached to the review: what a scam. Plus; another visitor who had ordered the same dish said this was the worst food they had eaten in France. Shame on you.

INCREDIBLE! The quality of the food for the price is incredible. My husband and I each enjoyed a 4 course dinner with the wine pairing for each course, which was 62 Euros pp. We certainly would have paid twice that in the US for this experience. We both had the lamb shoulder and it was delicious, especially with the CdP red wine. Starter was a fish pate and an asparagus dish with puff pastry and cream sauce. And the cheese course! Three cheeses we had never had before. Service was excellent. Very efficient. Waiter could speak English too, which was helpful. The restaurant is beautiful too. Casual but elegant at the same time. Highly recommend a reservation. We plan to return for lunch so we can enjoy the magnificent view mentioned by all the reviewers. If you only have a short time in CdP, I'd put this restaurant on your list.

The restaurant offered an amazing atmosphere, and the food, while not spectacular, was certainly very good. However, our evening was unfortunately marred by truly horrible service by one waiter. We were genuinely shocked when the waiter abruptly took the menu from my hand, informing us we couldn't order more food because we had "already ordered." This policy was never communicated to us beforehand. What made the situation far worse was the waiter's condescending attitude. He treated us as if we had no understanding of how restaurants operate, which was incredibly insulting. And shocking news: That’s not how all the restaurants operate :) If that is your policy, you should’ve communicated that to us at the beginning. Having dined in establishments ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to small local places around the world, we found his demeanor particularly egregious. We can only assume he perceived us as tourists and felt entitled to treat us with such disrespect. This ridiculous and upsetting interaction completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful evening, turning a highly anticipated night into a very sad and...
