cote fontaine — Restaurant in Castellane

The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and efficient. I could see they worked together as a team which is mandatory for success. The food was very good; we had crepes and salads. The location is sweet. My only negative comment is that the toilet was a shambles. It was clean enough but there was no seat for the toilet, nor a lid. Unprofessional .....fist day he literally didn't let us seat for a coffee at 12 clock because he wanted to keep the tables for the people who would order food (more money of course) second day early in the morning we asked if he is open and he told us to wait 4 minutes and although we waited outside he never called us to seat and just sat to eat his breakfast (he saw us waiting).... Thank god there are plenty other restaurants that respect our money, time...

Excellent cafe/restaurant. Friendly staff. Food & prices good. Some veggie. In a lovely little square with a fountain (hence the name), BUT too much noise from the restaurant loud speakers. (We asked then to put the sound down, which they did, but it was soon put up again.) The noise made the whole meal disappointing.
