Idéal Bar — Restaurant in Castellane

This is a terrible pity because the rest of the staff were lovely with me. The deal breaker sadly is the guy who I understand is the manager. When I had finished in the bathroom I saw a member of staff I had first met 2 days earlier who had comforted me in the storm. I tried to say hello to her. I didn't know I was entering a forbidden area in doing so. Instead of making me aware of this like a normal human being he shouted at me and told me to go back to the terrace. This was completely uncalled for especially as I had spent 37.5 Euros there. No recognition of the fact it is because of customers like me he has a business or receives a salary in the first place.

I am giving one star because this is a behaviour that should never happen unless I had defied his instructions etc and besides if the management is rotten the place is rotten too. As far as I am aware I have still received no apology for the incident by email when raising this by email.

So please avoid this place like the plague unless the boss or whoever he is is replaced with a respectful...

Mauvaise expérience, vendredi dernier dans l'après midi on arrive a 6 personnes pour manger des glaces. La serveuse déjà même pas un sourire, ensuite je vais pour l'aider a approcherr une 2 eme table juste a côté, elle m'a presque coincé les doigts entre les deux tables pour me faire comprendre que c'est son taf et que je dérange plus qu'autre chose. Une fois assis , une seule carte pour 6,en 2 min fallait déjà passer commande, je lui demande de repasser le temps de choisir. (Peu de choix avec des fraises, et trop de choix avec du chocolat) je me rabat donc vite vite sur une banane split, sauf que je préférai une boule simple autre que celle au chocolat. Et ben non même la on m'a refusé ça !car en cuisine il ne modifie rien sur la carte, soit c'est un gros mito de la serveuse ou alors la gestion est a revoir ! Bref j'aurai du demandé 3 boules au choix avec de la chantilly et une banane et je suis sur que je l'aurai eu mdr ! Énervé de tout ça, je n'ai pas pris de glace mais juste une crêpe pas top équivalente a une crêpe yahoo en sachet juste pour accompagné ma famille. J'aurai préféré l'autre serveuse bien plus agréable et souriante. Et pour infole glacier n'était pas en plein rush. Les toilettes était propres, seul point positif. Je ne reviendrai pas et je déconseillerai cet...

A classic tourist rip-off with VERY dishonest owners. We ordered for lunch a salad and something that looked like a pizza on the menu. What we've got was far away from the expectation: the "salad" was composed of old lettuce and the "pizza", they claimed was a "pain italien" in other words a grossly uncooked slice of bread with some very uncertain toppings.
