I would like to share my wonderful experience at the burger restaurant Café Rapp. It is a place where food quality meets exceptional hospitality towards customers, including our four-legged friends. I was captivated from the moment I stepped through the door and discovered such a dog-friendly environment.
As soon as I entered with my faithful canine companion, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. They immediately offered water to my dog, which was a truly appreciated gesture. It shows how much they care about the well-being of their customers, whether they are humans or animals.
The menu at Café Rapp is simply amazing. They offer a wide variety of burgers, ranging from classics to more daring and innovative creations. I opted for their signature burger, topped with melted cheese, fresh vegetables, and a secret sauce that added an explosion of flavors with every bite. The meat was juicy and perfectly grilled, and the bun was fresh and soft. Each ingredient was of superior quality, which really made a difference.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, smiling, and ready to answer any questions I had. They were also very patient with my dog, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's truly a place where you can relax, savor a delicious meal, and spend quality time with your furry companion.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is friendly and laid-back. The decor is modern and welcoming, with attention to detail. I loved the background music that created a pleasant ambiance without being too loud. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great meal.
What's most impressive is that Café Rapp also supports social causes. It's wonderful to see a restaurant that cares about the impact it has on the world around it.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the burger restaurant Café Rapp. Their food is delicious, their hospitality is warm and friendly, and they leave no detail overlooked to provide you with an exceptional culinary experience. Moreover, their attention to our canine friends is simply fantastic. It's a place you can confidently visit, knowing that you and your dog will be well taken care of. Kudos to the entire team at Cafe Rapp for their passion...
Read moreWent here for lunch while visiting Colmar. Looks like a burger shack, but didn’t really matter to us as we were just 2 friends having a casual lunch. The prices were that of a 5 star Italian restaurant in Rome. 20 euros for a smallish burger and relatively small portion of fries.
I asked for no mayonnaise on my burger but the waiter rudely answered “not possible”. What sort of restaurant won’t remove a topping out of the burger? Even in McDonald’s they will do it without question. The food was relatively slow but came eventually, however I got a burger covered in cheese even though it was not clear in the menu. Yes it was partially my fault for not doing a detailed survey of their tiny menu, but they could have made it more obvious. They took over 20 minutes after we were “done eating” to bring the bill, which then the staff member rudely stated “You will still have to pay for that burger” - with an aggressive tone. That’s understandable but they could have offered to remove the cheese or offer a discount.
Anyways, can’t recommend this restaurant. Extremely overpriced with small portions and the staff have attitudes worse...
Read moreI personally disliked the café, but gave a third star for the waiter trying to make up for our disappointment. We (6 people) came for Sunday brunch and asked whether it was possible to have a vegetarian option for the vegetarians at our table since their brunch is usually 50% meat. We were promised cereal and fruits instead of meat, but when the food arrived, they were out of cereal and fruit. The rest of the brunch was more American style and neither special nor good. Only croissants and coffee were good. The waiter noticed our disappointment and took a few espresso off the bill. Overall, a mistake having...
