BIGLARI CAFÉ — Restaurant in Draguignan

We were invited by one waiter to take sit at a table that was not cleaned (glasses still on the table) because he was busy chit chatting. I told him i will sit down after he takes away the empty glasses. Visibly annoyed he came, took all the glasses and then left to continue his conversation but not before he told someone from the bar that we are mean (we heard everything). The cocktail menu is available only on demand and when we asked he told us that he doesn’t have it but they have all the classics, and he is not going to tell us one by one all the cocktails because we might stay there for a long time. We asked for a carafe d’eau and he said is not possible we only do by glass… rudeness at his best, lack of education and standard. Not only i will never come back there but i ll make sure to tell all my friends about this horrible experience that brings shame to this city. ...

We had a blue-cheese burger and a Caesar salad, both were really good and they came quickly. The waiter was kind and attentive. We ate between the usual lunch and dinner times, around 4 pm (perhaps the kitchen is open all the time), so it wasn't crowded at all, just a few people having drinks. I guess most of the complaints about big waiting times are from lunch/dinner time, which is a shame. But if you eat in between, everything is fine. 4 instead of 5 stars because the drinks are very expensive, we had an aperol spritz and a mojito which were 18 euros each. We didn't get the menu for drinks so we ordered them thinking they couldn't cost that much. Also, we ordered tap water, but we actually received bottled water, which costed 10 euros. I know this region is expensive but these prices...

We visited here yesterday for lunch while vacationing in St. Tropez. There are LOTS of restaurants in St. Tropez, and we walked into this one for a light lunch. At the door, we were greeted by the manager Pier. he was very snobbish and had a very underhanded tone when speaking with my wife. The place was 90% empty, as it was early in the day. We asked for a table for 4 people. He indicated we all MUST have lunch otherwise he would not give us a table!! No-one should have just a drink or a coffee. His tone and mannerisms was extremely rude and was not welcoming. After we said we are eating we took a seat. Meal was ok but even staff walked up to us and apologized for his action and his approach to customer Service. He is clearly independently wealthy and has no need...
