My overall experience at NOTO in Saint Tropez was satisfactory. The restaurant offers a great ambiance and the food was undeniably good. However, I must mention that the prices are quite steep, which is to be expected considering the upscale name and prime location.
Unfortunately, one major downside for our group of 10 people was the excessively loud music that permeated the entire venue. The volume was so high that it posed a serious concern for our ears and general health. We politely requested the staff to lower the music on three separate occasions, but regrettably, nothing was done about it.
Exposure to such loud music for an extended period can potentially lead to hearing loss and other health issues. This was a significant drawback that affected our overall enjoyment of the evening.
Despite the fantastic cuisine and pleasant setting, the unresolved issue with the music prevents me from giving NOTO a higher rating. I hope they take this feedback seriously and consider adjusting the music volume in the future, as it would greatly enhance the dining experience for...
Read moreWe visited Noto St. Tropez because it’s touted as one of St. Tropez’s finest dining spots, especially for steak lovers like ourselves. Unfortunately, the entire experience went downhill from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was pretentious, the staff were shockingly rude and inattentive, and we felt unwelcome long before we even saw a plate of food.
Then came the steak, a tomahawk from the USA priced at over 300 euros. We ordered medium rare and got one of the driest, toughest, most flavorless steaks I’ve ever had the misfortune to try. We couldn’t even finish it and ended up going back to our hotel to salvage the evening with edible food.
To top it all off, when we paid the bill, the staff actually challenged us for not leaving a tip, despite the disaster of a meal. It was a vile experience from start to finish.
In summary, if Noto St. Tropez is considered one of the finest dining establishments in the area, they have certainly fooled us. It was one of the most disappointing and unpleasant meals...
Read moreThe restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. There was an acoustic guitar and a nice singer, the location is really nice…most of the staff is great! And just like that….if there was not a single really rude waitress/ hostess everything would have been perfect. 1/ they do not offer baby chairs; 2/ at 10 mins to 10 the respective waitress came and started lifting the plates with our food without saying anything. After i kindly requested one of the plates to be left, since there was still food in it and the baby was eating it, i was told in a very rude way that this table is needed in 10 mins. I was stunned!!! Noone informed us when we were seated that there is time limit and that we need to leave at 10. I asked if that means i cannot order a coffee and i was told in a rude way that i can order coffee, but no desert would be allowed and that in 10 mins this table is needed. Unfortunately, i did not get the waitress name, but she was the only one with light hair (dark blond). I strongly believe she needs...
