L'Escale — Restaurant in Gex

I recently visited L'Escale and was excited to try a halal pizza for the first time. The restaurant itself is clean, inviting, and the staff are very friendly, which made for a great atmosphere. I really appreciated the fully halal menu, but unfortunately, the pizza was a letdown. The flavor was very bland, and the sauce seemed like it hadn’t been properly cooked—almost as if it was straight from a can. The dough was too floury and felt heavy, making the pizza fall apart as soon as you tried to pick it up. To top it off, the chicken topping was overcooked and quite tough. Overall, the pizza lacked the flavor and texture I was hoping for, and I left feeling disappointed. Went there three nights during the stay. The first night I had Four Cheese pizza, which was probably the best dish I had here. The lady spoke good English, and she was super nice bringing us the English menu directly on our second visit. When we were there, she smiled whenever I spoke to her. Will recommend to anyone...

Dégoûté de mettre un avis négatif, car je suis parti une première fois et j’ai bcp aimé mais la deuxième reste à désirer… Nous sommes parti hier, premièrement j’ai demandé un shweppes citron (sur la carte) et j’ai eu un shweppes tonic quand j’en fait part au serveur, il me répond que le tonic est aussi au citron (je vous invite à regarder les ingrédients). Nous avons demandé 2 fois une carafe d’eau et nous n’avons rien eu. Je prends comme plat un pavé de bœuf sauce champignon. De 1 : le pavé me paraissait bien fin sauf erreur de ma part je ne pense pas que ça soit un pavé mais plutôt un bifteck. De 2 : Les champignons étaient invisible dans ma sauce, c’était la sauce oseille du saumon, les goûts n’allaient vraiment pas ensemble. J’en ai fait part, on s’est excusé et on m’a offert le dessert le moins cher (qui est à 4 e). On ne ment pas pour s’excuser ensuite.
