I paid with my Visa card and was told by the cashier that my card didn’t go through so I paid in cash . They said it didn’t show in their register that it went through. My bill was 13 euro which is reasonable for a hotdog sandwich, tuna sandwich and a diet soda.i gave the cashier 15 euro and was given a change of 2 euro which i put in their tip jar. While eating, I checked my online banking and it showed a pending transaction of $15.29 (assumed it was the equivalent of 13 euro to USD. I showed them my phone which shows the transaction and they still insisted it didn’t go thru since it’s still pending which I doubted since all my other transactions that went thru that day were still showing in my transactions as pending. Since I don’t have all day arguing with them,I left the store and just planned to dispute this with my credit card company. . AMAZING and fast service! They’re super nice there, serving you with a big smile on their face. They are actually happy to serve you, unlike at the Café de la Place. I totally recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick meal or ice cream! The prices were also quite reasonable....
