La Onda - Restaurant et Tapas — Restaurant in Grasse

A movie scenarium in one of the streets of Vence. Once arrived on the place, the first thing I saw was the waiter running everywhere. Actually, she was the owner but she was serving and working in the kitchen as well because a couple of people were missing. I ate delicious tapas with fresh ingredients coming from Spain (in fact the owner was Spanish) and what really surprised me was the quality of the service, despite the problems with missing personnel. Since I am Italian, the owner explained me everything about the dishes in a mix of Spanish, French and English. La Onda is one of my favourite restaurants. Anywhere! Amazing tapas. They are not the usual small ones. And the old Vence square is lovely for outside seating in the summer. But the interior is also fabulous, so it’s an all year delight. And the owners and staff are just a friendly joy. Especially the adorable waitress Alienor!
