Basilic & Thaï — Restaurant in Le Raincy

OMG Horrible service... We felt that no one on staff wanted to see us. It was empty to start with. Loved the Salmon, unfortunately the servers were rude, so 1 star it is. A few examples:

During our meal, I asked for another salmon, for my son, as we liked it a lot. I was told "it will be 15 minutes". I said that's fine, not a problem, let's order it. We waited a LONG time, only to realize later that they never took our order for this additional dish. "I don't take orders! Find someone else". I guess we didn't ask the right server? At least nicely let us know who to talk to, signal someone on staff who can help etc... You know, good service stuff :)

Another server did not make eye contact, did not reply to questions, and seemed to want to be somewhere else, in a rush when opening soda bottles and running away, etc. Hey I totally understand the feeling, it's not an easy job, but... I have to review our experience, so...

The same evading server forgot 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered. When the 2 missing sodas came, they were put on the tables without glasses. Server took off like a lightning bolt before we could ask for some.

Did I mention the restaurant was empty? It filled up toward the end of our meal, but our experience should have been a lot better, with the tables / staff ratio they had...

One more thing... Between the time our 1st person (party of 4) was served, and the last person got their meal, it spanned about 25 minutes.

If it was communication, both my perfect French and my family's perfect English didn't cut it... At an airport in France, that should...

Honestly the worst thai place I have been.

The waiter basically threw the chopsticks n fork on the table, I organized it myself. I had to wait more than 30mins for my food to come, while other tables that came and ordered later got their food and was half done eating. I waited patiently at first, at about 25mins later I called the chinese waiter, he just waved with hand gesture that the food is coming. after 5 more mins of waiting, I called him again to ask if they forgot my meal, then I will leave as I am not in the mood anymore for the food, he said ‘its coming coming 2mins’ I waited 5more mins and food finally came, it was the worst pineapple fried rice ever. Many parts of the rice was not mixed properly, and the ingredients used were only rice, egg, few pieces of pineapple, and 4 piece of prawn. didnt really have ANY flavor

I went with my friend 2 days back at 8 :15 pm we asked the staff if it’s possible to order our food but to serve it at 9:30 because we’re fasting! They said yes We placed the order and half an hour later they served the soup ! We told them again that we want to have it by 9:30 we cannot eat before that! After a while Again they served the soup !! I started to get really angry because they were very provocative as if they really wanna bother us!!
