LUIZA restaurant from Novotel
Speechless on the kind of inconsederate behavior the 3 waiters. All men from the night shift had last night while we stayed at the Novotel hotel.
We came 10 min after the time they closed because people from Novotel told us they will close at 11pm and was wrong info.
After our dissapointment on the wrong information we got, and a long flight I asked to one of the young waiters for at least a cup of milk and cereal, or a croissant for my child.
I got a cup of milk but nothing else, this young man with an older waiter with asian resemblance said clearly it was impossible to help because everything was closed and could take nothing from breakfast. Kitchen is closed full stop.
One hour later with a hungry child and a wrong delivery from Uber eats suggested by the receptionist from.Novotel ... the restaurant was completly closed. We talked to the recepcionist frotm the nigjt shift to let her know how this 3 waiters denied to help us and make a complain on the efect of providing wrong information to.customers from the hotel about the restaurant.... and guess what?
At 12 30 am She went to the restaurant was able to take milk, cereal, an apple and more to calm the hunger of my child.
Why this 3 man decided to be the most unhelpful waiters and to show this unconsiderate behavior? Specially the one who said everything is closed? I will never know. Why the receptionist form novotel from the previous shift had no capacity to help? Same.
This morning we talked to the manager and explained what happened. She apologized fpr his staff behavior and at least looked impressed abput we experienced.

   Read moreWe came here without big expectation as the restaurant was just with 3.4 points in google map. It turned out to have a happy dinner here.
First, the serving lady looks cool at the beginning but she is actually fast and attentive. We changed the steak ordered from medium rare to rare, she had done it with a smile.
About the meal, 2 main courses came first which was a big strange. The prime rib eye was medium rare but it's still fine and with nice taste.
The Pad thai with shrimp looks good but the taste has been a big different from the real one. We called it a French style. The pad thai noodle was a bit too hard and it's full of soy sauce which is not related in original taste. Still, it's OK for us to finish it as we are tired of 10 days western food already.
The funny part is that, we ordered a starter of salmon avocado bread. But it was delivered almost half hour after the main course. The starter turned out to be the best dish of the night in terms of taste and outlook. We finished it all as well đ
Anyhow, the food is nice, the place is stylish and the servers are attentive. It's recommended if you need to have a dinner in airport. đđ»

   Read moreThis is the ground floor restaurant at the Novotel CDG property. They have a fairly large indoor seating area, menu with a wide range of familiar Western dishes. We had a late dinner here recently after a long day of travel, just wanted something close to the hotel so gave them a try.
Dishes are fairly pricey for what is served. Our meal was brought out around one hour after ordering, portion sizes ok, food quality fairly noticeably below-average compared to the rest of our dining experiences on this particular trip.
Burger was grilled just fine and tasted decent on its own, toppings semi-fresh. Not the worst burger in the world but much better a few other times to this trip to France and London.
Veg and rice bowl was 'meh' at best. Veg were all fine, rice prepared near al-dente style which was quite odd for this style of dish, it was also semi-drowned in a sweet vinegar dressing, just a strange dish texture and tastewise.
Would possibly dine here again given the extremely convenient location if staying at the Novotel CDG but would try other dishes to those ordered on...
