The only good thing about this hotel is the location close to Paris CDG airport's terminals. The room didn't look too bad upon entering, but many things were off. The toilet was so close to a diagonal wall that one can't sit on it properly. The bigger you're as a person the worse it is. The hair dryer didn't work. The bed's mattress made me feel like lying at an angle, i.e. with the head/upper body being lower than the lower body. Apart from that the room's inventory was similar to what could be expected of a low budget hotel. However, ibis budget hotels are usually a little bit better from my experience. I tried entering the hotel through a door that said entrance, but that door was closed (and so did other people from the airport by train). I was at the counter for guests who had a flight cancelled (they have their own counter for that!), the person behind the desk typed on the keyboard with just one finger. And the card for my room didn't work at first, so I had to go back down. The breakfast was alright, but vegans might have trouble finding stuff to eat. At least they had some soy milk. I couldn't find any oat meal or Müsli. I saw people dropping the tongs to grab croissants and picking it back up from the floor and putting it back with the croissants (both a guest and a member of the kitchen staff did this). The best thing is the location, the CDG val train which brings one to terminal 2 is close by.

I have been to that hotel quite some time and unfortunately the service degraded over the years. Apart from the location now nothing works out! Maybe this is because of the location that they do not care about annex services and maybe people with 'long' stays are not their target (did 6 nights) - they advertised for aircon availability but it is only fan function which works, I guess the compressor is basically off! Room gets stuffy at night! - the shower is broken and does not hold - at 13:30 room not done and when I spoke to a cleaning lady in corridor she says not my reaponsibility. - I booked 1 night in advance as I had an early arrival the next day and I got refused early check in! Guess what they cancelled my booking because of no show and I was blamed to have booked one night in advance. They told me I should come the day I booked and ask for early checkin, showed them how it got refused and they did not apologise. The booking was already paid via booking.com in advance! An also when you try to approach them before midday for check-in they brush you aside. - best part is all servers in both restaurant chasing for feedback on their service to be able to get prizes as there is internal competition where they are to get small prizes if they come first! Unfortunately for me will look for alternatives and if I come back I know what to expect and it will be my fault then.

The location is perfect if you're just looking for a place to rest your head before an early flight. It takes 5 minutes to walk to terminal 2 from the hotel entrance. The room looked clean. The sheets and towels were fine. I was worried after reading some other reviews, but didn't have any issues. There is no mini fridge. All of the reviews of the attached restaurant and bars were terrible so I got a microwave meal from the grocery store that's just instead the train station. When an influx of patrons arrived from a plane, more staff came to assist with check-in. There was still a long wait, but better than if only one staff member was there. There are vending machines in the lobby for snacks/drinks and travel essentials like tooth paste, phone chargers, etc The coffee shop is not a Starbucks but has Starbucks branding.... So the menu is different. It's very confusing. They didn't even have a non dairy milk/ or lactose free option. The bathroom is tiny, but functional. The toilet paper was the most cheap sandpaper-like option they could have gotten. Hardly absorbent and very rough. One window opens in the room but there is no fly screen, and a little cord that prevents it from opening all the way. My friend got bitten by a mosquito in the night.

The room itself was perfectly fine and the bed pretty comfy and the staff were great. The reason I could not give higher stars was the error that all unfolded. On arrival there was a coach load of Asian tourists of which only 1 seemed able to communicate with the staff. Rather than organise the party they engulfed the lobby area with little thought to any other guests trying to check in. The manager was trying to sort everything out for them and seemed to be doing his best only to be told how expensive the price was. Once they finally left I tried to check in only to be told they had no reservation for me. Luckily I had the email confirmation and was able to show this. The manager was very apologetic and I could see he was flustered hot off the back of the large group of tourists. A room was eventually found for me and I was very grateful, I paid and then the manager kindly organised a cab for me to go to the airport to make a collection. Once back at the hotel at gone midnight there was another small group of woman who by all accounts were also unsure whether they would have a room. I went up to the allocated room and began to get myself ready for bed when I heard the key in the door go and someone begin to open it. I was in a state of undress and had to quickly jump up and stop the door from opening fully to which a very confused lady on the other side of the door told me I was in her room. She showed me her key card which did have my room number on but so did mine. She apologised and went off. I tried to call reception about this but could get no answer and didn't wish to venture out in my nightwear. The bed itself was very comfortable however the noise from people sat outside prohibited sleep for some while. In the morning I went down for breakfast. The dining room was very busy which is to be expected and there was a good selection of food for you to choose from. There had been a shift change and a different team were manning the reception and I needed to head back to calais. I can't fault the night manager, he really tried to do his best but it was a rather and...

I used to be a fan of this chain. I have stayed here before. After asking at checkin counters to speak to a manager regarding my concerns I was given an email. I emailed the hotel first to advise them, but for the second IBIS in my travels no answer. Communication has gone down hill with what used to be a solid choice. Pros. Lobby is large, welcoming, pleasant to sit in. Room size is large, laminate flooring not carpet, standard IBIS pod bathroom (larger than UK showers) Excellent location. Staff in La Terrasse restaurant are great, breakfast at 13 Euro is a good deal, nightly rate was good. Cons they allow dogs, and for three days I listened to them whine. Call to reception didn't help. On a personal visit to reception I was told it was just for one night, not so. Even with earplugs my sleep was disrupted. In the room each night I was bitten by something multiple times. I would finally get to sleep and wake up each morning with fresh bites. I saw them spraying something in the lobby. There are security guards who hover in main lobby. They should be stationed at the doors, particularly to the coffee shop. I was harassed for money by someone who wouldn't take no for an answer until I used my "cop" voice. Security got him after he moved into the lobby. As this is a cancelled flight hotel there are always line ups. There are card access issues, it wasn't just me. Multiple people had the same issue. Room's have been redesigned. At least the old design had a shelf for your suitcase. New design has little round tables as bedside tables no room for anything on them. A strange stool thing with a removable top, I moved it and perched my suitcase on it. High useless shelves. Might look trendy but not functional. Worse service in Pia restaurant ever. My trust in this brand is gone, it was not a pleasant customer...

I had booked Ibis CDG hotel near Paris CDG airport on 19th April 2025 and paid 160€ for my stay.

I had to catch a flight from CDG Airport at 8 AM and i had booked this stay so that i can get enough rest before my flight. First i did not get the check in at exact promised time i.e. 12pm since the room was not ready. I got the room around 12:30pm.

The air-conditioning is not present in the room and the size of the bathroom is incredibly small as opposite to what they've mentioned on their website.

Around 3AM in the middle of the night, in room, the washroom's ceiling started leaking water heavily.

My room was flooded with water everywhere in few minutes. I had to chase reception for this and they acted like its no big deal. First they asked me to shift to another room in another building outside this hotel.

After 1 hour of requests, they shifted me to another room in the same hotel. When i went to that room and opened the main door with the key, to my surprise the room was already occupied with guests and people inside panicked as soon as i entered their room in the middle of the night. I had to apologize to them several times and again i had to chase staff at reception.

Again after an hour, they provided me with another room and it was close to 6 AM by the time i got the proper room. I could not get enough sleep and on top of it, i had to rush straight away to the airport to catch my flight.

This was horrible and worst experience i ever had for my overnight stay even after paying such an expensive amount.

The property rooms are very old, not maintained at all and have many issues. The staff was also very rude and ignorant the whole time.

Not at all expected from a brand like Ibis. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go with this hotel ever again in my life. I would give zero star rating for...
