0 stars Visited Sunday 16th November 2025 Ladurée, CDG Airport (Terminal 2C) I had a very unpleasant experience at Ladurée in Charles de Gaulle Airport (Terminal 2C) that completely ruined my day. First of all, I want to clarify that we were not recording any staff members' faces, and we were in a public area, yet the staff particularly a man (black male) and a white woman were incredibly rude. The man was especially unprofessional, even though we weren’t doing anything wrong. When we asked for the grande chocolate macaroon (which I didn’t see on the display), the staff was very dismissive. At first, the man said they did have it, but when I ordered and paid, I asked again to confirm, and he treated me like I was being difficult. He snapped at me and said, “Do you know what you ordered?” When I asked if it was the big one, he told me it wasn’t, and there was a general lack of respect in his tone. No customer service at all. The only staff member who seemed a bit more friendly was the lady, but that only happened once she noticed we were speaking with a British accent. Later, my sister went back to purchase two more macaroons, and when she asked for them to be bagged separately, the man became irritable. He insisted that it would "break" the macaroons if separated into different bags, and refused to listen when my sister told him it was her problem if the macaroons broke. He kept saying, "No, my problem." It was uncomfortable and entirely unnecessary. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for a brand like Ladurée. There’s no excuse for the rude behavior, and we won’t be returning to this location. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that customers are treated with basic courtesy and respect...
Read moreThe macarons that we purchased were so beautiful and delicious. I regret not purchasing a dozen or two but I was running between terminals. The service was horrible. So horrible. It made me second guess even going to Paris leisurely. I wonder if that's the general demeanor there or if the workers are seriously underpaid. Or just mistreated. Because they are disgruntled.
This is how my experience 4/8/24 went:
Before deciding to wait in line, two young women speaking English were leaving and I overheard them say how rude the woman was. I ignored the comment since I travel often and realize everyone's perspective is different. Ahead of me was a family with 4 kids, all dressed in designer, just running amok. But the young woman helping them was very patient and kind. Not short at all and they're very indecisive about purchasing 2 macarons. It becomes my turn and her whole demeanor shifts. First, she doesn't acknowledge me at all. Not even a I'll be right with you, or one moment (in french or anything). When she does acknowledge me, I try to order in french but I see my bad french is irritating her so I change to English and point to my 5 things. In the midst of her wrapping and packaging the pastries, another employee clocks in. He has the EXACT same attitude. Just over his job. I pay with him, expecting my nicely packaged treats and they both just stare at me. Then the woman from earlier rolls her eyes and looks at the male employee. He then asks me what? What?! They are still holding the goods I paid for and are asking me why I'm still in front of them! I was so shocked by this interaction. Please either treat your workers better so they don't act like this or offer more competitive pay to find...
Read moreEXCELLENT - TAKE FOR YOUR TRIP HOME. These were so good. We had others in Paris and the soft texture and taste of the Laduree macarons are on par with all of them. Don’t disregard this location because it is at the airport - the macarons were very good. Highly recommended. It’s busy...
