La Table de Michel Roth — Restaurant in Le Raincy

Another example not knowing the difference between elegance and arrogance. 5 people in the staff and bad service to the total of 8 people eating.

After having waited several minutes and trying to get contact with staff (busy talking to each other) I get a menue myself from another table and walk to order a burger and a beer.

The beer tastes weird (bitter, soap and honey) I send it out ("you still have to pay for it" , I gladly pay as long as I dont have to drink it!)

order a glas of st emilion (quite good)

The burger arrives. And its not to bad, but I am starving by now and can eat anything. Have to ask 2 times for salt and pepper, 3 times for the water I ordered.

Eating with knife and fork (not just one) is good. Having to ask for it several times is not good service.

At 29 Euro for a burger and 12,5 for glass of wine I guess this is all the service Michel Roth...

The short version: avoid it. Rude staff and overpriced.

The full version: We were 2 men who had 1 hour to spare before starting boarding. It took us to ask 4 waiters to get some attention after being there for 30 mins. Super long waiting time! After we finally ordered, the waiter asked "just this?". I my head I'm like "hmmm yeah sorry to not order a 31€ burger 🤯🤯, and "just" a bottle for 2 people and 30mins left". Our order got served 5 mins later. When he brought the bottle, the same waiter did not look at it while trying to open it and butchered the cap by slicing it at the bottom of it 😳😳😳. Apparently he skipped the wine tasting class. No need to mention that there was no thank you, no check for the bill, no check if we were doing ok. We had to ask to pay our bill which also took too much time....

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in Paris, and it was due entirely to the appalling service provided by one of the waitresses. Coming from a multiracial and an international country, this Indian waitress is one of the worst I have ever encountered. From the moment we sat down, her demeanor was unprofessional and bordering on hostile. Her tone was condescending and accusatory, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. A restaurant can have the most delicious cuisine in the world, but if the service is this disrespectful and rude, it's simply not worth it. I would strongly discourage anyone from dining here.
