Racist restaurant

Highly not recommend for tourists especially you are Asian.

First, the restaurant was way too busy. Unfortunately, it seems however busy they are, they just don’t want to serve us. We stood like transparent in front of 3-4 staffs for few minutes until I tried to talk to them and seek for table arrangement.

The bartender girl and the male waiter rolled their eyes when I tried to speak english.

Then the male staff asked us what to drink and arrange a table but he was very unwilling to do it.

After he put down our drinks, we never saw him again. We just sit outside with no menu no service and keep waiting to the end of world. I have no choice to raise my hand and ask for a menu. We still look like transparent/ ghosts.

We finally decided to leave. What a really bad experience.

So if you don’t want us to have the lunch there, please just tell us to go away / it is full.

If you’re french maybe you can give it a try. I’m sure the foods do looks good and good service for the local only.

This is the first review i’ve ever written and it’s only because I’ve never been treated like this at a restaurant. They refused to sit us at table and did not give us any reason for it. The table we wanted remained empty for the entire duration we stayed, and they even let people who were behind us in line be seated before us simply because they were French and we visibly were not. They genuinely had no reason for refusing us a table and treated every visible minority the same way. Every tourist would be seated to the sides regardless of the size...

Popped by for lunch after our visit to the Monet Gardens and Home. It was very lovely sitting in the terrace by the garden on a sunny spring day with birds chirping in the background! The servers were all polite and attentive to us. We are Asians so ignore the reviews that say they are racist - they are not. Possibly those who had a bad experience were rude to begin with. We had a lovely time eating our food and even got dessert. We recommend this place to anyone who’s in the area...
