Avoid if possible. We arrived on a busy Monday. Initially we were told there was no room to accommodate our group of 4 adults and 5 young children. We were delighted when the waitor said we could have a table inside. In hindsight I wished we had been moved on.

After a long wait to take our order (and been told they could not cater for our celiac daughter, see dietary section below), we ordered 4 burgers, a steak and kids chicken and chips. 3 of the kids meals came out quite quickly, but the mains took an age. No apologies for the slow/poor service. The waitor literally didn't care. When asked for some ketchup, he brought a single small tub for 5 children. When we asked for more, he said "but you already have ketchup?" Sigh. The service was so bad and he was so rude, we left before the kids got their ice cream as part of their meals. The chicken was bland and tasteless. The burgers and steak were decent. This review all fell down on not feeling welcome.

Won't be back. My advice to the waitor, if you don't like your job get another one. The only negative dining experience we have had in a 2 week trip to France, please try...

The beautiful setting for this restaurant encouraged us to eat lunch here before going on our wine tour. The food presentation was excellent and the taste was superb!! Unfortunately the serving staff were negligible, the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The female servers were not very friendly and appeared to be overwhelmed. My experience while traveling throughout France for the past two months and eating in restaurants on a daily basis is that as soon as customers are seated, the serving staff brings a bottle of water and a basket of bread and then comes back within 5 minutes to take food and drink orders. Not at Les Giron'dines in Saint Emilion, Even though we asked for water, we waited 15 minutes for it to arrive. From start to finish we were at the restaurant for over 90 minutes and missed our wine tour. The service was incredibly slow. We ordered the daily special thinking this would be the quickest option, but unfortunately it wasn't. The food is delicious, but the owners should really improve on the...

Tourist Trap. Average food. Terrible service!!! Never been treated this bad in any restaurant. We got kicked out because we only order 1 menu of 3 dishes plus 2 glasses of wine, as we weren’t that hungry. The waiter said that we were occupying prime real state and if we didn’t order 2 menus we better go. She did that grabbing the menu from our hands and pointing at the door. I think it’s not worth it to have lunch in Saint Emillion and better drive back...

Went with my family to have lunch and we all had great dishes. I had the burger with fries and salad (the meat was really tender), the raviolis and a lemon tart that came with lemon sorbet. We also shared a delicious wine. The service was really nice. We would definitly recommend it to make it part of your St Emilion day tour.

Overall experience was disappointing! From the service to the quality of the food. My burger bun was unfortunately burnt! And the waiting to take our order and have our food ready was a bit too long. However, the location is nice as you have an outdoor terrace and some of the dishes were fine.
