We stayed at L'Hermitage Gantois for a few days and had dinner at the bar and restaurant twice because the cuisine was exceptionally great. The beef stew brought up some sweet memories of my mother's homemade beef stew; it was really, really delicious. Highly recommended if you are seeking a quintessentially French restaurant for your supper in Lille. 👍👍

We stopped by for a drink at the bar. The place was very nice and relaxing and the drinks were as nice as we expected. The only problem -and probably the biggest- is that there was a mouse running freely back and forth at the bar, and when we informed the staff we have been told it’s “NORMAL”.

We came here as my parents always stay at the hotel when they visit Lille and recommended the bar. It’s a really lovely atmosphere. We watched the champions league final (no sound) whilst the pianist played in the background. The venue is beautiful.
