Were there with friends, the worst experience. We took oysters and shrimps as appetizers, not fresh, the shrimps were full of water the heads were falling apart, the oysters were already dead. We ate it anyways, the result is diarrhea 👍. Then I took a bass, it was enveloped by a plastic bag with super old pieces of lemon, the first bite and it was clear that it was not fresh 🫠. It was smelling awful 😣 i didn’t wanna risk to eat more, I explained the situation to the waitress and she came back from the kitchen saying that they insisted that the fish was fresh. On top of that they threw out right away that “fresh”fish, without even asking, and said that the kitchen is closed, so cannot get anything else instead. Super 👍. In the end I ate from the food of my friends, gladly their mussels were eatable. And of course I had to pay for the fish that i didn’t eat( 26 €) super puper 👍👍

Read moreVery pleasant old style brasserie with bench seating along the walls and small tables that are pulled out by the waiters so that the bench sitter can take their place easily. We (2 persons) arrived without a reservation at 19:30 on a Saturday evening, but we still got in. 45 mins later, it was pretty much full house. The waiters were efficient and friendly but they had a lot of work considering the size of the restaurant. However we received our starters of Coquilles Saint Jacques and my wife's Snails and mushrooms in truffle sauce about 30 mins after ordering. The mains of Steak Tartare, salade and pommel frites and Tuna steaks on a bed of wokked vegetables were delicious and also came about 30 mins after finishing our starters. We chose two 25cl carafes of the simple white house wines and I had a coffee at the end. Total price 118 Euro. We're glad we came here and would certainly...
Read moreDifficult to rate because very unequal quality depending on the topics. First the place: really astonishing with its Art Nouveau style and the 'flamboyant' decoration; it is eally worth the visit. Second: the service - really good, kind and helpfull. As they were busy they forgot my beer and to apologise they offered it! Then the food. Appetisers were really good: the hot oysters super delicate and the tartare de magret really original and unique. The salmon éclairs were less impressive. The choucroute de la mer , as the chef's special, was also very unusual. A pity that the scampis were too cooked. The homard was also too cooked and the 'beurre d'estragon' a bit blend. The moules frites were really good. Their flagship dessert: the 'tarte au citron meringuée' is...
