Elizabeth's tea room is the place where I hang out with myself the most. I love the place and there are many reasons for it.

One, it is an english tea room, so I feel comfortable to speak English without any hesitation.

Two, the tea menu is quite elaborate. I prefer my ginger and peach tea.

Third, variety of tea cakes and pastries to select from. I have almost tried most of them and some of my favourites are carrot cake, layer cake, and banana cake. I also love their cheese cake and the short bread is definitely a must try with their hot chocolate. I am not a huge fan of their in house hot chocolate because they make it with powder and its not dark enough to my taste.

Four, the seating arrangements are quite cosy. Makes you feel like home.

And last but not least, if you are a fan of Charles Dickens, they have a good collection to just sit and read there although I always...

I stopped in twice, once for a cappuccino and blueberry scone and another time for Sunday Brunch. The coffee was good and the scone was slightly dry but still satisfying. I wasn't planning on getting the brunch but decided to because you can get enough food and it is worth the price. I'm low maintenance when it comes to food so I was unbothered by having to take my tray of food up the stairs to my table. It's a different experience than what I have had before and I welcome the opportunity for new styles of service. The staff was all so nice both times. I came alone each time and recommend coming at least 10 minutes before opening on Sundays so you don't have to wait long. Around €5-6 euros for the scone and cappuccino and €22-25 euros for brunch. Worth it...

If you want to get kick out by one of the workers right after you pay for a drink and pastry, and for sitting by yourself at the only table available because "there is a huge crowd" coming into the coffee shop, I would definitely recommend this place then! This claim was completely false, taken the fact that no huge crowds went in and right as she had finish saying that a large group of people had just left. To me this was unacceptable and straight up racist, I am a person of color, and was caused by a couple because I had asked them if one of them could move their coat which was simply resting on one of the chairs. Will definitely no be going back nor...
