JUNK LILLE — Restaurant in Lille

Well well well. Some burgers are good some are excellent and some are just beyond perfect and that's exactly the case with the Junk. If you go for the 5 patties option I recommend you to do some breathing exercise beforehand. Also you should wear swimwear or some old t-shirt as juices are squirting and cheese is melting. Fries are probably the best you can get in Lille crisp on the outside and mashed inside - absolute perfection! Definitely would eat again but risk of beef overdose is higher than on...

A nice burger place in old town of Lille. The burger is juicy and the burnt sides from the smash give the burger a unique taste. The burger by default as no greens so my children loved it! J’y suis allée à deux pour un déjeuner rapide. On a pris un smash burger à la truffe chacun, avec du poulet pané en accompagnement et un thé glacé.

👉 Côté goût : rien à redire, c’était vraiment très bon. La sauce à la truffe était bien dosée, les steaks parfaitement smashés. Le poulet pané était aussi bien croustillant. Niveau quantité, c’est correct avec un side, mais un peu juste si on se contente juste du burger + frites.

💸 Côté prix : un peu cher pour un fast food, surtout avec une commande à la borne et un service au comptoir. On paie clairement le côté "gourmet burger".

⚙️ Service : rapide et efficace, conforme à ce qu’on attend dans ce type d’endroit.

😕 Déco & confort : gros point noir. L’ambiance est franchement froide et triste, et les tables étaient collantes (sales ou usées, difficile à dire). Monter deux étages avec son plateau, c’est pas l’idéal non plus.

Bref, très bon burger mais cadre peu engageant et prix un poil élevé. Dommage, ça gâche un peu...
