Very dissapointed about our visit last week sunday. Me and my friends were celebrating a friends birthday in Lille & wanted to visit a good restaurant. I spent a lot of time figuring out which restaurant had the best reviews and decided to make a reservation here. In the first minute the waitor told us that almost half of the dishes weren't available. Since the menu doesn't have that many options to begin with we were very dissapointed. If I knew this in front I wouldn't have gone there in the first place. So I think thats a big mistake to not let the people know so they have the option to make a reservation in another restaurant. The things that they didn't have were for example mango & guacamole. I think they could have bought the ingredients for that in a supermarket. Despite the dissapointment we tried to make it a positive experience and ordered the few dishes they did have. The tuna tostada was lovely but we also had two superbowl. The superbowl didn't have the mango which was okay for me but when I took a small bite the rice wasn't even cooked well. So I sent it back. When we wanted to pay the bill they didn't even removed the superbowls by themselves, we had to ask for it. I think it was just a very bad evening and wasn't handled well but I was very confused (I work in hospatality myself) that they didn't try anything to make us leave in a happier way. The least they could do is offer us a coffee or something. Just not a good...
Read moreWhat a gem! Tigermilk brings a refreshing Latin soul to the heart of Lille with bold flavors, beautiful interiors, and a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere.
From the moment you walk in, the colorful decor, warm yellow tones, and a ceiling lined with bottles and hanging greenery make you feel like you’ve stepped into a summer party somewhere far away.
We started with their signature ceviche, which was nothing short of spectacular — tangy, creamy, fresh, and beautifully plated with mango, pomegranate, and lime. The BBQ ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, served with roasted potatoes and a punchy sauce on the side. Drinks were a show of their own - playful, citrusy, and dressed up with dried fruit and spices that made every sip an experience.
The Lotus cheesecake was the cherry on top - rich, decadent, and worth every bite. What tied it all together was the service: friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about the menu.
It’s the kind of place where food, ambiance, and energy come together in perfect harmony. Whether it’s a date, a dinner with friends, or a solo treat, Tigermilk...
Read moreThis was a very cozy restaurant. Honestly, I think it is one of the more cozy places i have eaten this year. With a group of 3, we headed to the restaurant. We had a good time, but their are some points i want to talk about. The tables are really small, and their are only a few tables that serve for 4 people. We didn't have a lot of place to eat comfortably. On the other hand, they did have really great service, and the plating is made for the small tables, making u feel like the table is bigger than it is. Good job! The amount of food u get can really depend on the dish u take. Some of the options will not be enough for most people. The taste of the food was amazing, and I love the fact that they embrace the latin culture showing itself in everything, from the food to the decor. Even the chocolate mouse was with a latin characteristic(Spicey)
Overall, i think this is the perfect place for a first date. Something different, not too big portions, and super cozy. But i dont think it's perfect for larger groups and really hungry people :)
Thanks for the...
