Le Paris — Restaurant in Limoges

We went out to celebrate a 30th birthday. There were 6 of us. The arrancini starters were OK but a bit tasteless; my daughter enjoyed the terrine. For the mains, the steak and duck were excellent and the beef was good. Unfortunately the fish and chips wasnt- dry fish and soggy chips. The salad de chevre came on sliced bread! But the worst was the linguini and gambas. No sauce and rubbery gambas. We asked for more sauce and they took the dish away and came back 10 minutes later with the same food, now cold, and a jug of salty broth. It was supposed to have a bisque sauce. My daughter enjoyed her chocolate mousse, but the creme brulée was nothing exciting. We paid 250€ for the meal, with 6 kirs and a bottle of wine. We felt that the food was poor compared...

À la base c'était un super endroit pour boire un coup, on y venait souvent, à plusieurs en plus... on a même sympathisé avec les serveurs c’était pas mal ! Puis un jour on étaient environ une dizaine il nous manquait une chaise, personne ne vient donc on commence à chercher une chaise pour ne pas laisser une personne debout, et la grande surprise le serveur arrive et commence à nous dire qu’on ne mélange pas les chaises de la terrasse avec celle devant l’entrée. Bon au début on a pensé à une blague mais enfaite non il était très sérieux donc on le regarde et on lui demande si la dixième personne va rester debout et il nous répond d’attendre qu’une autre chaise ce libère sans aucun scrupule...à chaque fois que nous venions ici nous étions quand même de bon consommateur (5-6 pintes puis nous enchaînions avec le repas). Depuis cette visite nous n’y mettrons plus les pieds et nous irons dans le bar juste à côté qui d’ailleurs est très bien et qui lui cherche n’importe quelle solution pour que son client soit le plus alaise... c’est important que les personnes en groupe note que dans ce bar on ne sait pas gérer quand on dépasse les dix personnes ne vous...

Very cosy atmosphere in this great place. Dining room downstairs and bar and another room upstairs, very intimate and I've had a blast alongside other students on Wednesday evening.
