VerSus — Restaurant in Limoges

Incredibly non-friendly (to the point of hostile) reception by the person (man) working there. He refused to host us even though there were many empty tables on the ground floor and upstairs. The person clearly shouldn’t be working in the hospitality business, definitely in the wrong profession and clearly too much attitude for nothing really. Truly pathetic…😂😂

In response to your reply, I would like to add that it is not only 'What" you say but "How" you say it and this makes a huge difference on how people perceive whether you are friendly or not. You didn't smile at all, you told us off for bringing the umbrella inside your place, you are very "typically polite" and then you showed us to the door eagerly for us to leave. This how I sensed the "hostillity" I mentioned from your attitude and body language. Maybe you should consider again how you approach new customers, hospitallity does require fine skills. I am sure there is room for improvement in this aspect =) And a quick note, the person who entered just in front of us just sat down at a table no questions asked. This was just a confirmation that you were for some reason biased towards us, maybe it was the umbrella, who knows ;) ...

Tout d’abord le lieux est chaleureux, tout est parfaitement agréable du mobilier jusqu’au personnel, qui a même pris du temps à sortir de la cuisine et venant me questionner sur une tête que j’avais faites pour savoir si quelque chose me déplaisait ou s’ils avaient oublier de mentionner quelques choses. Pour la cuisine et bien c’est tout simplement incroyable j’ai découvert de vraies saveurs des accords subtiles et peu commun à un prix tout à fais abordable. On peu préciser qu’ils font partis des disciples d’Auguste Escoffier. J’ai bien cherché un point d’amélioration mais pour moi la seul vigilance reste la marche à franchir à l’entrée. Le Versus est un endroit accueillant, chaleureux et l'atmosphère y est très conviviale. J'ai été grandement impressionné par leur cuisine créative et raffinée, ainsi que par leur service remarquable. Ils sont particulièrement attentifs et prennent soin de tous les détails. Nous avons réservé une table dans ce restaurant pour célébrer un anniversaire avec un groupe de 16 personnes. Nous avons passés une excellente soirée. Le gâteau d'anniversaire était vraiment splendide, un véritable plaisir pour les yeux et pour notre appétit, en étant en accord avec le thème de l’anniversaire.
