Beautiful space, but absolutely no hospitality.
This was my second visit. The first time, the service was already cold and uncomfortable the owner even started talking about me in French with other women sitting nearby, assuming I wouldn’t understand. It was unpleasant, but I chose to let it go and appreciate the atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the second time confirmed everything. As I entered, holding my phone simply to put it into my bag, I was immediately told “no photos” even though I wasn’t taking any, and I already knew this rule from my previous visit. The café was almost empty, with only four people inside yet I was told the place was fully booked and asked to leave because it was lunchtime. No kindness, no alternative, no effort to make a guest feel welcome.
When someone comes back a second time, it shows genuine interest. You don’t just dismiss them. Tourists are the reason local businesses in towns like this can grow and thrive. And instead of listening or trying to improve, she replies to guests with the same cold, defensive tone. If you don’t enjoy working with people, and if basic kindness and respect are too much to ask maybe running a café isn’t the...
Read moreThe real zoo. Where a unbelievable person insult clients and tell lies to cover her bad temper on socials. We asked for an early dinner and after insults we left a comment on her lack of hospitality. The answer was just lies and other insults. This is not a question of service and quality of food, this is about to defend the category of people working in hospitality and restoration. Need really a basic education before treat with people. Hope in a conversion one day, no place or food can balance a bad person relation...
Read moreWe had an excellent 3 course lunch here. The owner cooks everything fresh and has new small menu every day.
The foods are very flavourful, the owner is friendly and the little restaurant is one of a kind experience.
The restaurant has a no phone / laptop use policy.
(Note that shoppers can not enter while the guests are dining, because of the restricted access with the pass sanitair.)
A 3 course lunch set will cost approximately between €25 - €30 +, depending on the meals of the day.
Highly...
