Le Café Du Port — Restaurant in Lisieux

Went to Honfleur to find a place to eat that all 5 of us would like. It's a good place for Sea food lovers of which I'm not but there was a burger on the 24€ menu so I got that with boiled eggs to start and creme brulee to finish. It was very good and the others who got sea food were happy too. We thought that it would be difficult to get seating for 5 on such a busy day but we were given a round table and served very quickly. We were there before 7PM with 3 boys of 2 years and younger and tired and hungry. Everything was closed, which we could have known. But here we were welcome. Not only was the service great and staff (and other people at the bar) very friendly: the food was GREAT! We had entrecote and bavette with camembert sauce and they made a hamburger with fries for the boys. We were SO happy! Thank you! We will remember and hope...

Menu de petit restaurant de village à prix doux (entrée plat dessert à 16.50€)

Nous avons commandé une soupe de poisson et une soupe à l’oignon

La sauce de poisson était insipide, la soupe à l’oignon était plus proche du bouillon lyophilisé et ce n’est pas les 5 maigres morceaux d’oignon qui démontreront le contraire, ajoutez à cela l’absence de pain et fromage gratiné.

2 ailes de raie et tagliatelle. L’aile de raie poussee en surcuisson à rendre grossier un morceau de poisson les plus fin. Les tagliatelle sont faites au micro onde sans sel et bien sûr trop cuite étant donné leur innombrable passage au micro onde. (J’ai dû compter 3 visites dans ce four magique !)

Nous n’avons pas pris les dessert.

C’est pas cher mais c’est pas bon.

Petit bonus : le chef qui bougonne quand une cliente renvoie sa crêpe réchauffée...
