My wife and I had dinner here on our first visit to Lyon ever. It did not disappoint!!! The amuse bouche was a tasty surprise full of flavour to start off the evening. Our favourite dishes were the courgette/zucchini, smoked mackeral churros (lovely), and beef tartare which had flavours like I've never ha anywhere else (from the herbs etc). It was a shame we had just arrived after a long flight and hadn't found our appetite quite yet. We had to forego dessert unfortunately.
The service was welcoming, very friendly, and helpful as my wife and I tried to figure out what to discover from the very interesting menu. The lady was so kind and patient with us in English (given our not-so-great French).

We received a sample that was bland and needed salt. Our charcuterie board had good meats and bread, but that was it. No mustard, jelly, nuts or other garnishes to help it go down. My wife got a polenta dish. Just fried polenta, mushrooms and butter. Bland with no herbs or seasoning. I got something that said “chicken.” It was okay - edible. Processed mush wrapped in a flaky crust. Some good seasoning and fresh dill. But not really what I was hoping for. Some carrots. No green vegetables...
