My family and I recently dined at this establishment and, regrettably, found the culinary experience to be below expectations. Specifically, the starters lacked flavor. Our dissatisfaction was further compounded by the main dishes; both the tartar and chicken tagine fell short of our culinary standards. The tartar was notably underwhelming. Being in the country where the dish was invented this version was nothing like a tartar should taste. More concerning, however, was the chicken tagine, which was served undercooked, with parts of the chicken still raw near the bone, raising concerns about food safety.
In addition to our dining experience, we encountered issues with cleanliness and hygiene during our visit. Notably, the restroom area had the presence of small flies. Moreover, we observed an instance of questionable hygiene practices by one of the staff members, who did not wash his hands upon exiting the bathroom, which is particularly disconcerting in a food service environment.
While the remaining dishes ordered by our party were average and did not elicit the same level of concern, the overall experience was marred by these significant issues. We hope this feedback is received as constructive, as our intention is to highlight areas for potential...
Read moreVery tasty and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. We had a trio of cremes as starter (Parmegiano, pepper and aubergine). All very tasty.
Also our main dishes were very good. Chicken and sea bream were delicious with a nice surprising twist of oriental spices. Both dishes were really superb and assured us to have made the right choice of restaurant.
Only our fillet was well done instead of medium but the meet and sauce was good, so we kept it as it was very tasty. It was accompanied by home made French fries we didn’t like as mich as they were quite as oft and fluffy. But that night be our taste.
We also had a virgin Daiquirí which is made with alcohol free rum and it was amazing how much it tasted like real rum (because it is in fact real rum depleted from the alcohol). What a great way to enjoy a cocktail.
In addition to the great cuisine the personnel was very kind, friendly and welcoming and it’s a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
Overall a great recommendation for a wonderful...
Read moreThe food was great. Healthy as advertised. The Tuna bowl had only a three pieces of tuna tataki- a bit disappointed here. The fish dish dorade / seabream was very plentiful. What I didn’t like. They now ask for 10, 15, or 20% tip to trap the Americans even though service is included. And they charged us 7,50 for water they filled up in their own bottle (vs. Evian or Perrier), and for a smaller bottle of water needed to add a bit of water to the ricard, charged us separately for that as well. I wish I...
