When I’m in Europe I have one Aperol Spritz every day before dinner, which means I’ve had literally hundred of these drinks across 10+ countries. This is the first time in YEARS I have encountered an Aperol Spritz that I couldn’t even identify as being one; it was so bland and watery I may as well have been drinking a Sprite. It was also about 30% smaller than any spritz I’ve ever been served in my life. The server was very firm on me paying before I had a sip and I can see why. I’m giving them two stars because they do have an interesting beer and food menu (including vegetarian options!), but definitely go somewhere else for your happy hour cocktails.

We found this place just before we were about to give up looking for somewhere decent to eat amid lots of tourist trap places and settle for a sandwich. The food is tapas-style where you order several small dishes to share. We had meatballs, croquettes, chickpea flour fingers (“panisses”) and aubergine, followed by a delicious fondant of chestnut cream. The cooking has a strong Syrian influence. The guy serving was really friendly and the prices were very “democratic”, as they say in France.

The waiter said in my face happy hour was also a discount on cocktails.. brought the drinks and charged full price... Both Moscow Mules were lacking vodka ... Also spilled a drink from other table in my wife ... Don't recommend if you want a good cocktail and service..

Waitress refused to serve me despite me saying hello in French. Other people walked in and she greeted them so I’m not sure what her issue is with me 🥹 I’m backpacking around Europe for YouTube videos so maybe I didn’t look as wealthy as her normal clientele. But this isn’t the case, and the video of my bad experience will be shown on...
