Avoid this restaurant. The initial service was unwelcoming, with the waiter simply dumping the menu on our table and walking off for an extended period of time. Whilst waiting for food, we watched as several other tables, that arrived after us, received their aperitifs before we did. We waited over 35 minutes for our food. The salmon pasta lacked any seasoning, being extremely bland. Although the salmon itself tasted fresh, the sauce had little to no taste - a lot of salt was needed to bring out what little flavour there was. The bread, that was given when our food arrived, was stale.

The place has a really nice terrassa, turistic but apart from the busy city. We ordered 3 salads, they were all 3 very good and big. We also had cheese raviolis but they weren't the best we've tried. The staff was very nice and they refilled the water like five times during the meal so no complains about that. The deserts are very nice too, worth trying them! Recommended place!

Normally we check out reviews beforehand to find a nice place near us, but it was running late and we decided to sit down here. The prices were okay, so it can't be that bad right?

We ordered 2 beers, I ordered the Risotto with shrimps and my girlfriend ordered the 'burger of the house'.

The risotto tasted incredibly cheesy, it tasted like what we in the Netherlands call 'rijstepap'. I think it's called 'rice pudding' in English. The shrimps were bland and tasteless.

The burger of my girlfriend was dripping with oil, the cheese was plasticy, and resembled lasagna sheets. The fries tasted like they had been out of the frying pan for a long time and refried. They tasted like oil mostly.

We should have gone to McDonalds instead.

When we got the bill they charged us for 2 large beers (Grimbergen) while we only ordered a small and a large Heineken. I made a comment about it and we got charged the right amount after that. But is was kinda sloppy on top of the bad food.

I wouldn't...

Service was in general nice. The grilled cuttlefish was also very nice. However, in the clam pasta, we found a clam with a lot of sand inside, which made the sauce very sandy also. When we asked the kitchen, instead of replacing the dish or refunding the dish, they only offered to replace the pasta without the clams?! When the replacement pasta came out, it was extremely bland and also had some sand inside which could mean that they just took out the clams and reheated the dish that was sent back. Their excuse is we had already eaten most of the clams which is true, but for a mistake from the kitchen, you would expect them to at least replace or refund the dish. The waitress was nice, so the problem is with their management! It is a shame because otherwise the...
