I ask if it’s possible to order a bouillabaisse, a typical dish. The waitress tells me that even if it isn't written on the menu they make it anyway, so I order it. Several minutes pass and they don't even bring me water to drink. After another few minutes of waiting, one of the waiters finally warns me that the dish requires quite a long preparation and offers to bring me bread and butter, which I accept. When the dish finally arrives after almost an hour, the impression is that it’s abundant but also rustic. The soup was good but without salt and the stewed fish inside was inedible as it was stringy and difficult to clean; one of the fish in the second dish was clearly behind cooking while the other two were fine, although full of bones. When the time comes for the bill I’m taken aback: 75 euros, of which 8 euros for a bottle of Perrier sparkling water. Not only these prices were not shown on the menu but they were also quite expensive for the quality of what I ate. Terrible place,...

We reserved a table to eat in the restaurant. We ordered pasta, fish, and sea food soup. The pasta came with a strange taste and smell of the sea food, as if it was rotten and the olive oil was rancid and made it the worst pasta that I have ever had in my life, so I complained and the lady apologized and threw it in the trash. My partner had grilled fish, it came with rice and two salads (fresh and grilled), but the salads were totally not fresh tomate has white colour and the lettuce was black. My brother got a soup, in which the mussels were closed not open, which means they are bad. Three of us got food poisoning, although I only tasted the food and asked them to take it out. They put my plate in the receipt and wanted us to pay for it, so we refused and we asked them...

We were totally shocked by the whole experience. We were looking to have dinner, and this restaurant came up because it had good reviews. However, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. The service was horrible and slow. People do not even speak basic English, and they were all looking and acting weird. We ordered 2 seabreams, and they bought us different fish. On top of that, both of the fish were RAW. We couldn't even believe this, and when the waiter saw it, he immediately grabbed the dishes and ran back to the kitchen. No one apologized or even offered a discount for this mistake. In addition, people were smoking inside! The whole atmosphere was like a third world country. Please avoid...

Esperienza fantastica.

Nice view at Basylique, cool vibe with locals around. Friendly service. And unfortunately that’s that. We’ve ordered seafood linguine and swordfish steak, waited an hour for food. Both dishes kinda without flavor 😢 Even a bit of salt would go a long way here. Best thing was a beer but guessing that’s hard to spoil :(
