Whatever you were planning to do in Marseille, make sure this is part of it. Don’t go just once, you’ll want to go at least twice. Make sure you go hungry because you want to have as much room as possible for the amazing deliciousness that they prepare.
We happened upon this place by accident. It was by far the most delicious treats,, and the best treats that we have had in France. The service was most excellent. They recognized that our French was a little poor, but assisted us as if we were a local friends and carefully considered where we were going to be eating and packaged our food in such a way that it would travel well.
I’m not sure if we will ever get a chance to go to Marseille again but if we do, this is the place we’re going to.

There is plenty to choose from, both from sour and sweet snacks as well as regular bakery products such as baguettes, regular loafs of bread and foccacias. The lines go around the corner, but there is plenty of staff and it moves quickly. As soon as an item is sold, items are reorganised so it always looks full and fresh.
But the most impressive part is obviously the taste... OMG!
During the course of our stay in the area we consumed baguettes, almond croissants, pastel de nata, tarte aux pommes, pain aux raisins, millie feuille and tarte au citron.
