Whatever you were planning to do in Marseille, make sure this is part of it. Don’t go just once, you’ll want to go at least twice. Make sure you go hungry because you want to have as much room as possible for the amazing deliciousness that they prepare. We happened upon this place by accident. It was by far the most delicious treats,, and the best treats that we have had in France. The service was most excellent. They recognized that our French was a little poor, but assisted us as if we were a local friends and carefully considered where we were going to be eating and packaged our food in such a way that it would travel well. I’m not sure if we will ever get a chance to go to Marseille again but if we do, this is the place we’re going to. S being you all the LOVE from Canada.

Incredible bakery that gets very very busy. It was located just 90m from our Airbnb and came highly recommended by our host The lines go around the corner, but there is plenty of staff and it moves quickly. As soon as an item is sold, items are reorganised so it always looks full and fresh. But the most impressive part is obviously the taste... OMG! During the course of our stay in the area we consumed baguettes, almond croissants, pastel de nata, tarte aux pommes, pain aux raisins, millie feuille and tarte au citron. Lucky we are staying on the 3rd floor to work of all those glorious calories! Highly recommended

What a cute little bakery! People were queuing up to get inside the diminutive shop to get their fresh baked goodies. We went 3 times during our stay, enjoying croissants, quiche, pizza slices, & cake. The service was so well organized and cheerful that you felt like a neighbor rather than a stranger in town. A particularly heart-warming surprise was how everyone we talked to seemed unbothered by our pitiful French skills and the way they wrapped our treats like treasured gifts, earned our admiration and our 5 stars! We would come back anytime and suggest you try La Banettine too!

An extremely friendly place, seemingly frequented by the locals. From what I've gathered owned and run by a couple. There is plenty to choose from, both from sour and sweet snacks as well as regular bakery products such as baguettes, regular loafs of bread and foccacias. There is also a small coffee menu and ice cream from local artisans. The prices are low, everything we've had was delicious and despite not speaking French and the lady not speaking English, we communicated just fine. The lady is enthusiastic and greets every customer with charisma. The place itself is kept tidy and looks very warm and welcoming. Would...
