This place serves buffets - mostly seafood dishes - right on the edge of the Vieux Port It was quite bad
Before I get into the negatives, there are a few decent things One is that for a buffet, it's not that expensive - comes out to around 30 euros per person. The options are quite limited, though Probably the best part of the main courses was the soubressade, beef salad, and terrine de campagne. These were actually pretty flavorful Also, when it came to the desserts, the cheeses weren't bad - and the brownie was decent enough
Everything else, though, was not good The bouillabaisse, if you can even call it that, was so unappetizing I set it aside after just one bite. The fries were some of the worst I've ever had A lot of the fish were completely tasteless. On the good side, it was fresh, i suppose, but the blandest fish you can possibly think of I've never had a more dry ham than the one that was served here
After eating here, you feel uneasy about yourself - and spend a little bit of time hoping that it doesn't make you sick
Overall, this is the epitome of quantity over quality. Don't go here if you actually want...

After a long day in Marseille and as most of the restaurants were about to close we entered this place close to our hotel and it ended up becoming the worst experience we have ever had in any restaurant in any part of the world. Apart from the disastrous food which tasted like trying to cover up bad ingredients, there were flyes all over the food. Before leaving I caught the staff manipulating the big pieces of cheese in the buffet after wiping the sweat off the face and when I told one of the waitresses she told me, It's ok as it's the closing time and everyone has already eaten. Sadly I have this feeling that those pieces of cheese will end up in a customer's plate tomorrow as nothing tasted fresh and everything tasted old and prepared days ago. The best thing about this place was the location as well as two ladies working there which were friendly.Very disappointed as this place ruined our last day of trip...
Read moreWe came here during Holiday season, when many restaurants are closed. This is one of the few that are open, and we saw mostly other tourists like us who didn't have many other options to eat.
I came in quite excited, but the food is pretty mediocre. However, being that the price is only 24€ per person, it's a pretty good deal. I was desperately craving vegetables (days of meats and pasta will do that to you in Southern France) and they have a good selection of Mediterranean salads.
Most of the diners were just stocking up on mussels, which we thought were too salty. The shrimp wasn't very fresh, and the bouillabaisse didn't taste great. I ended up sticking with the chicken, ham and salad options. You're also going to get your money's worth if you eat a lot of cheese and dessert. They're pretty good, especially the moelleux...
