Le Bistrok Montpellier — Restaurant in Montpellier

I initially tried to get here for lunch but was ignored by the waiters. To be fair, there was only 30mins til closing.

Not to be deterred, I turned up at 2200 later that night and managed to get a table. Even though no one spoke English and I speak almost no French, I managed to order what caught my eye earlier during the day which was a simple dish of carbonara pasta.

I have no idea why that caught me eye, but it didn’t disappoint. The taste, the texture and the flavours were better than I had expected. I never had carbonara in that form, and am glad that my flight was cancelled and I was able to experience it.

The wine was from Chile and I know some reviewers were disappointed it was not French. Good wine is good wine, who cares where it comes from.

There was a table full of people who were friends enjoying a night out of wine and conversation. I hope to see my friends in that same table some time soon...

We passed through the city and we noticed this cute bistrot many times and we were willing to try it out. We got the chance to eat here for dinner and we were all positively surprised. The entrée were all very good, especially the original truffle croque monsieur that was amazing. The main course was great too! The risotto was super tasty, the bao burger original and flavorful, the meat with the bread gallette too! We took two glasses of wine that suited the meal just finely. The dessert was very generous, the vanilla ice cream in particular, and the chocolate cake amazing.

Added to this, the two waiters were super nice and helpful, they explained the whole menu precisely and were very kind to us considered that we were not locals.

I suggest to try this place at least once, even just to have a nice and enjoyable meal in a very cute and pleasant atmosphere in the center of...

Tuve el placer de visitar este encantador restaurante y debo decir que quedé completamente impresionado. Desde el momento en que entré, quedé cautivado por la atmósfera acogedora y elegante que lo envuelve. Pero lo que realmente se destacó fue la hermosa cocina que se sirve aquí.

Cada plato que probé estaba cuidadosamente preparado y cocinado a la perfección. Los sabores estaban magníficamente equilibrados y las especias utilizadas añadían un toque sorprendente a cada bocado. Fue una verdadera delicia para los sentidos.

Los platos en sí eran auténticas obras de arte culinario. No solo eran visualmente atractivos, sino que también reflejaban la atención al detalle y la pasión de los chefs. Cada componente estaba dispuesto con precisión, creando composiciones que eran casi demasiado hermosas para comer.

El personal del restaurante merece un elogio especial. No solo eran extremadamente amables y acogedores, sino que también demostraban una eficiencia notable en su servicio. Estaban atentos a todas las necesidades de los comensales, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más placentera.

No puedo dejar de mencionar la terraza del restaurante que daba a la plaza. Fue una delicia disfrutar de mi comida al aire libre, rodeado de una atmósfera animada y relajante. La combinación de la buena comida, el servicio excepcional y el entorno encantador creó un ambiente realmente inolvidable.

En resumen, mi visita a este restaurante fue un verdadero placer. Cada aspecto, desde la cocina hasta el servicio y el ambiente, se unió para crear un gran momento.
