La Famille — Restaurant in Nîmes

We have been coming to Uzès for 20 years and have never experienced such rude service as in La Famille. Like another reviewer, we were shown to a table with an overflowing ashtray. The waiter reluctantly removed it and then disappeared. He returned with menus and just threw them on the table. We asked about some dishes and he seemed irritated at our questions. When he brought the food, he plonked it wordlessly in front of us. No social skills or sense of service. As we left, he mockingly called "thank you" after us. No way! After visiting places like Lyon, the capital of gastronomy, even in the weekend-farmers markets, we didn't have this weird service like the canned sardines with the can/tin included on the plate, moreover the unfriendly service. I easily can go to the supermarket buy canned sardines and ate them with some bread and this would save the slow service and the peculiar style of this restaurant!
