Asian Factory — Restaurant in Nice

Food was regular but the staff was very rude.

We divided the check and my friend wanted to pay with her card, but when the contactless stared to fail, the waitress stared to mock my friend in french (thinking we wouldn't understand) saying “she has a card and she doesn’t even knows her pin code”. We felt bad and other friend offered to pay so we could leave, this is when things got interesting, our other friend pays and signs the voucher but at the same time my other friend who's contactless wasn’t working receives a confirmation message from the bank confirming the failed payment.

We asked the waitress to check the verifone to confirm we weren’t paying twice, she said that this wasn’t possible and stared to get angry, we showed her the app of the bank with the charges, but she continue to denied us help.

The situation turned worst when a guy we think was the manager, came yelling at us saying that they didn’t made mistakes and I quote “we serve 200 plates by day, we don’t make mistakes, if there is an error it’s yours, we don’t have time for this”, I didn’t understand why the where so angry, we where calm and just wanted to confirm that the payment was ok, at that point I asked him, sir whats going on?, he answered me saying that I didn’t have a saying in the matter Inquiring that I didn't even had a meal and I just was occupying a chair. We where chocked with his response, I did share a meal with my friend (I cannot eat a full plate since I’m a bariatric patient) they left us in the table with the situation and ignored us.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place!

We are huge lovers of Asian cuisine, but this restaurant was a total disaster. The food was absolutely inedible. I ordered a poke bowl, and the rice was completely undercooked, literally crunchy and with sour cream on top. My mom got the “Tiger’s Cry” beef, which was so raw that we had to send it back, only for it to come back even more undercooked. It was impossible to chew.

When we told the staff about the issues, they dismissed us, saying that “Asian food just isn’t to our taste” which is completely false since we love and regularly eat Asian cuisine. Instead of fixing the problem, they took the plate and told my mom to order something else. She went for the Pad Thai Chicken, which came with burnt chicken pieces, no peanuts, and wilted greens on top.

I assume the old lady is the manager or something but extremely rude, unprofessional, sarcastic, and delusional. Couldn't even order food before she started berating one of our guest. After berating and not listening she waved us off and called a waiter to deal with us. The waiter did his best but you can hear the old lady in distance/inside speaking loudly about us. Absolutely ridiculous and had to leave the restaurant. Ashamed we couldn't try the food we were looking forward to, we moved down the street to an amazing restaurant with great service.

EDIT: Responding, you only spoke to the 1 person out of 7 about what we were going to order. You did not ask anyone else what food we would order. . Everyone was going to order food.
