Carrousel Factory — Restaurant in Nice

As a former chef, I had high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The salad was decent, but it only had three small slices of avocado, which felt underwhelming. The burger lacked tenderness, making it less enjoyable, and the combination of burrata and lime didn’t work well together in terms of flavor. If you are on vacation and are looking for a causal place that is going to take care of you this is the place to go. Tasty food and the kindest service we had while in Menton. It is the perfect antidote for some of the other restaurants in the area (please see my other reviews). My partner and I went here everyday on our vacation and every time we left feeling happy...

Nous avions choisi ce restaurant pour que les enfants puissent profiter du carrousel… et nous aussi d’un bon moment. À la réservation, on nous avait prévenus : « pas de retard possible, pas d’ajout de dernière minute » — on s’attendait donc à un lieu pris d’assaut. Surprise : le restaurant était vide… un samedi soir.

Côté service ? Il a fallu plusieurs relances pour réussir à passer commande, et nos plats sont arrivés 1h30 après notre arrivée. Dommage, on venait principalement pour la planche apéro, mais passée une certaine heure, l’heure de l’apéro est révolue. Tant pis pour nous.

Les burgers sont corrects, sans plus. Rien d’original, boissons basiques, carte assez limitée. Résultat : un dîner cher pour une expérience assez fade, malgré le manège en fond.

Bref, une adresse qui mise peut-être un peu trop sur le décor… et pas assez sur l’assiette...
