The worst meal I've had in France in a wk, don't waste your money here, much better to spend 23 euros elsewhere than 15 here. I don't recommend this place at all. The service was lacking, so no service, had to ask for everything like salt pepper olive oil, water, bread- these are basics! Never asked how's your food, how you are, or how is your meal. Had to ask at end of meal for water again. When I tried to pay it took ages so I went inside to pay the bill and had to wait again, they will keep you waiting, no thank you after paying, I should have said about the lacking meal but I didn't bother,

even another table of five sat down and they left after 15 minutes as no one came to take any order!

We ordered the formulae midi meal and the salad is literally a few leaves, one slice of tomato, no dressing, exactly why we had to ask for oil. The main, well don't get me started, actually I'll save you the frustration! The 'linguine fruits De mer, had a nice base tomato sauce however the seafood consisted of only 4 mussels and the rest of the seafood was chunks of tinned tuna, never had this in a linguine seafood dish before, EVER!!! I ate it as I was starving and it took ages to actually get the food on the table, with of course no bread even on the table whilst waiting!! Maybe this is what tourists get served? My mum ordered the bolognese which was decent. The 'dessert'was two small scoops of ice cream, about five choices of flavors and TBH average ice-cream. The board outlining the formulae makes it sound as if there's a choice. The staff themselves look pretty miserable and are not very attentive at all, they're actually pretty grumpy, no smiles. We also observed that none of the other diners seemed to be happy either. Spend your...

Never had an experience like this in a restaurant. Friendly waiter, yes, but ordered one starter to share with my wife and two main dishes. Starter was brought with my wife's main dish. 5 mins later mine arrived and was the wrong dish. Sent it back and complained. 15 mins later, starter finished, my wife had finished hers and no sign of mine. Complained. Waiter claimed he was waiting for me to tell him to take my plate away and bring the (correct) main dish! Told him to get on with it. 5 mins later main dish arrived and was the wrong one again! First wrong main was brought by a scruffy young lad who couldn't speak English or French. Second wrong main by another different guy. My wife's 'salade de mer tiède' was horrible. My starter, jambon de parme with asparagus was the worst dish I ever ate. Jambon not fresh, asparagus cooked to a pulp. Could have made that myself in 2 mins. Two glasses of rose, bottle of water, bottle of Pepsi, one main, two starters and a menu enfant for our son. For €60! Scandal. Ran out of there never to return. DO NOT...

This is a lovely little restaurant in Menton vielle ville. I was becoming frustrated walking past several places that had literally just stopped serving. This is a real issue when visitors by train, who have arrived by train, and travelled some distance, arrive hungry and thirsty. Thank heavens for non-stop service! Quick, polite and efficient, I was seated and had a cold pastis to drink - after nearly 2 hours on a train, this was very welcome. I had les gnocchis aux quatre fromages as I am vegetarian. The waiting staff were very welcoming and helpful, the price reasonable, the atmosphere convivial, and the food absolutely delicious. What more can I say - 5 stars! ( I WILL be back!)

Went here for a World Cup game. Was packed but service was pretty quick, you just have to be assertive and get waitress attention. Food wasn’t that bad, I’ve had worse in the area, however portions were pretty small, we ended up ordering an appetizer after eating our meals. Also got three bottles of wine, they were not too overpriced for the area, which can get a lot worse depending on the restaurant in that square. Side note they have cool digital menus for all languages, so if you don’t speak French/Italian you will have no issue here.

The squid was quite good and well seasoned, nice drink tho a little bit sour but it’s good for me. Worst part was however the creme brulee, even though I appreciate the waiter trying to get it for me, it had already gone off and sour, which was so disappointing. It was so very difficult to get attention from the waitresses, we had to wait forever for them to lay their eyes on us. Bad communication between workers, they were screaming and shouting at each other.
