Brasserie du cap — Restaurant in Nice

Stopped for a lunch, but has been disappointed by the service. The waitress did not informed that there is a long waiting. We were with a kid (3 years old) who just wanted french fries (it took 50 minutes to delivery to the table). Meanwhile she didn’t want anymore french fries and we asked for a ice cream, which took again 20min.(First time I asked she forget, and brought it only when I asked second time). I understand that it can get busy, but people has to be informed especially if you see family with kids. She was saying : it’s because the guy in the kitchen is alone (but when don’t take so much people) or at least serve the kid first. Many tables were disappointed and she was just shouting it’s not my fault it’s not my fault. And was speaking kind of arrogant with an old italian couple who were waiting the food for 1 hour. One sever could speak English but she did not speak English to me (I saw her speaking to other customers in English). She didn‘t get our order correct (which can happen and I would totally understand if she seems sorry) but she did it in a way really sarcastic and arrogant. In the end I didn’t want to stay longer and we immediately paid and left. There was one another server without glasses and she was very kind though. So it could be us unlucky. She shouldn’t work at the restaurant if she hates her job. Also pigeons...

Horrendous service. Sat down for over 30mins, no waitresses approached to take our food/drink order. Couples arriving after us and their orders were being taken. Eventually flagged to a waitress to see if we could place our order. To be met with confusion as they believed they had already taken our order. Waitress goes inside, their manager comes out and tells us kitchen closed. This was whilst a food order was being taken on the table next to us! Very rude and abrupt. Save your money and time and go elsewhere...
