We were really disappointed with our visit to this place. We initially stopped in hoping to enjoy a few drinks, but the staff were quite arrogant and dismissive, insisting that “this is a restaurant” and we had to order food.
When we decided to share a main course along with two side dishes, their attitude remained cold and condescending—as if we weren’t spending enough to deserve decent service. In the end, we paid €50 for what felt like a frustrating and unwelcoming experience.
To be fair, the food itself was okay—but nothing memorable. Unfortunately, the poor service and unwelcoming atmosphere really overshadowed the meal. You can really enjoy the kindness of the staff, in both French and English, and the passion they’ve dedicated to the ingredients stands out. My mom was blown away by the caramelised pork that felt like it had required hours of attention - I had the shrimp which were exquisite. Such sweet and juicy flesh and a really fresh flavour. Food, staff, ambience - amazing.
Tucked away off the stress with the cars creates a more peaceful and romantic atmosphere.
The food is rustic French. Delicious and amazing for sharing. The staff was more than helpful and honest with their favorite picks. Something about that crazy salad was wickedly good, then the duck croquettes put me over the top.
