Léo Léa - Assiette au Boeuf - Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat — Restaurant in Nice

When I arrived at this restaurant, I was shocked by the rudeness and unpreparedness of one of the waitresses: she had her black hair tied in a bun and rolled her eyes everytime we called her. Me and a couple of friends were calmly dining, when she stormed in front of us and asked for our order; we didn’t even have time to respond, that she ran away, looking for other things to do. When she came with our food, she forgot one of our friend’s and she had to wait at least 10 minutes for her plate...Anyways, later on we discovered she only had to serve two tables, but she was running from one place to another! We later on, asked for some french fries and two bottles of water, and when she came back to our table she served the LEFTOVERS of the one next to us, and forgot to bring us the water we had asked her. The other waiters were definitely nicer and, one of them even brought us other french fries because he saw we didn’t have any left. Some of our friends were french and heard the lady talking to one of her coworkers saying we were such a nuisance! Guests shouldn’t be mistreated like us tonight, that’s why I put one star to this restaurant, and I hope this won’t happen to...

I ate with four of my friends here. The welcome was warm, but that's where the good ends.

The menu was confusing, the waiter was rude (one / two word answers), the food was bad, and I'm pretty sure the staff was ignoring us from the moment we said we didn't speak French (The staff seemed real friendly to the tables that spoke French. They talked with them for long while we tried to beckoning them for ordering).

We waited to order our drinks for 10 minutes (which might be normal for a busy restaurant, though they didn'tseem to be that bus), an additional 10-15 mins to order our food (while the waiter visited almost all the other tables and spoke a lot with them, despite our beckoning) and almost the same time to even request the check.

Also, my blood sugar was low (I'm Diabetic) and when I was taking some glucose tablets, a waiter came by to say not to eat candy (which I undersatnd the confusion, they look similar).

To sum it up: Bad service to those who don't speak French, over priced compared to what the food and drinks were, and left a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figurativelyl).

I don't know where to start, we were wondering around the port, and then found this place where there was a band playing some Mexican music with great voice, everyone was cheering and clapping and great vibes. We didn't want to eat and the place was almost complete, we asked them for a table for a drink, and they allowed it which is not normal for other restaurants in this place especially in August. We sat for two desserts and two coffees. The desserts were incredible and the coffee was too good for a place that is not specialised in coffee. The staff was very friendly and quick and the music and the vibe were adding to the experience. Other tables seemed to order the steak which seemed absolutely lovely, but unfortunately we had already eaten somewhere else. Absolutely...
