La Havane — Restaurant in Nice

Menu looked good, reviews were positive so we walked the 5 minutes from our hotel and found a table out front along the street. Ordered 2 cocktails and from the Tapas menu, the Havana Rolls, Tacos and Chicken Quesadilla. Drinks came fairly fast compared to service we've experienced in most places in Nice, but after 25 minutes and no food, I used Google translate to ask, "Will our food be coming soon?" Had to do this as our server spoke no English. She shrugged and gave an expression while speaking French in what we assumed was, "You want to order some food?" Now we knew she didn't speak English so we placed our order by pointing to each item on the menu, which we watched her write down. She read it back to us and we nodded our approval. So our disappointment was obvious when she was trying to take our order but we couldn't stay due to an evening Monte Carlo tour. A 4-top nearby sat down after we already had our drinks and got served their drinks and and tapas item they were sharing. Menu prices look reasonable but we can only give it 1 star...

We came across this tapas bar whilst looking for some where that wouldn't break the bank. The menu was simple but delicious however the menu photos don't match what you'll get what You've ordered. Example. The menu shows 3 tacos but you'll get 2. I had a sorbet which was amazing but only got one,when it showed 3 The chicken wings in bbq sauce also excellent and we ordered chips too. In hindsight we should have ordered the platter of mixed tapas menu because we shared our meal of tacos and chicken and chips with each other and i left feeling rather hungry!! The waitress was awesome and never stopped rushing around and still had a smile for her customer. Ps Latino music for over 2 hrs...

Very fun spot if you want to salsa on the French Riviera. I only had a glass of wine so I can't speak on the food. But the atmosphere is fantastic. The restaurant is very cute.

The fellow patrons are friendly and the live band is great. In between the live sets, DJ Tiina plays the salsa hits.

Whether you are alone or with a group of friends, you are sure to have a great time if you love salsa music and dance. The only downside is that there is no dedicated dance floor so the serving staff will shove past you as they work. Just remember to look out for them while you are dancing.
