B-BAKER - Les Petits Pains de Méditerranée — Restaurant in Nice

This was my first morning Nice and this Boulangerie was really close so I looked at reviews at went with them , the lady who served me was lovely and spoke English. I ordered croissants and baquette and pastry, the croissants were stale and the worst I've had but I think it was down to the owner knowing I was not french after speaking to me and said something to the lady serving me,I think he told her to give me the old croissants. Well you've missed out on a customer who would have been here every morning for 10 days. I will not be back! The baquette was lovely but as I say the croissants...

Very friendly staff but the food was not at the quality needed for the price (€8+ for a combo menu).

The first food arrived burned black (photo) so it was replaced. The replacement was better.

I checked through other reviews of this place in Google and pastries look better in those [photos], so I might have visited here on an unlucky day.

The sweet pastries were better than the savories so if you do visit I’d suggest to just go with one of those. You probably won’t be disappointed with the apricot tart as I found...

I highly recommend this place run by the friendliest, most hard working, charming couple. The cherry on top of our great experience there, is the exceptional food. We ordered a chevre crudite, which was amazingly delicious, along with a croque monsieur, and mille feuille. Sidenote: Our son had taken a fall as we were leaving the restaurant, and started crying. The owner came out to him and handed him an Eclaire to cheer him up. What a kind, classy gesture that I won't...
