Much like others, we felt blatantly discriminated at the restaurant. I normally don’t leave any reviews on google (good or bad), but I am writing this because I don’t want others to have the same horrible experience.
2 of us (both from North Asia) went into this restaurant. A while after we were seated, we signaled the waiters that we wanted to order. At first, one of them nodded and signaled one of them are coming. We waited. However, no matter how long we waited, all of them just kept passing us, prioritizing setting up tables (btw this was waaay after lunch time so the restaurant wasn’t full at all) and bringing some new guests to the table while their order was taken with no problem. After 5th or 6th time we signaled and they were gesturing they were coming but they never did, we understood what was going on. The guests who came in after us and got served before us were all Caucasian. I should have filmed how blatant it was, but I didn’t because I thought that’s not respectful to the venue or other guests around us. So, at the end, we quietly left the restaurant, feeling very sad and somewhat angry and frustrated.
If you are reading this review after you got the same treatment at this restaurant - I am really sorry. I know exactly how you feel. It’s an understatement to say it’s upsetting, sad and unfortunate. It may make you feel even worse when you realize it’s 2018. YES...it is happening in 2018. However, let’s not let this despicable behavior by the uneducated workers of this restaurant ruin your time in this wonderful city. Let’s keep in mind that we have more in common than what divides all of us. Let’s keep learning and traveling so there’s no room for ignorance that fosters the discrimination. Let’s make sure we NEVER treat others in a remotely similar way these workers at this restaurant treated you and me. This way, we can do our part in making the world a bit more inclusive place :)
Lastly, if you work at / own this restaurant: please read other similar reviews with 1-star. There seems to be a consistent discriminative behavior at your venue. You also have many good reviews about the quality of the food, so it is a pity that you are treating a certain groups of people in an unfavorable way. I hope your staff will travel to some other countries (preferably places where the population is predominantly non-Caucasian) and get exceptionally wonderful experience in restaurants because this may help yourselves reflect on what kind of professionals / human beings you had been while working in this restaurant. avant tout, on a experiencé le total discrimination, par le serveur. norriture pourrie, le serveur préfere servir que des blancs, j'espere votre manager voir cette commentaire (Je pense qu'il fait ça tous les jours, j'espere que lui va devenir un jours un arab ou un asiatique ou un black et avoir même traitement comme lui à fait l'autre, ou j'espere votre prochaine vie devient comme ça,
the server do discrimination, he is enjoying, i think manager know he is enjoying the discrimination, customers paying money to be discriminated, owner pay him for his discriminination service.
Attention, If you are not white, expect to be served after, you will endure server making fun of you. Sorry for other good people working there but "the server" (you will probably know who we are talking about i guess, he is not doing that just one day but every single day because it's part of his life, and I'm tired of hearing that from my clients)
Dear customer Let's play the game, I do not recommend to go there but if you have to go there let's play the game.
Let's find the "Server" who do the discrimination in Villa d'iscrimination and when you find, tell us what you have experienced, how and which way this time the server discriminated.

The place is a warehouse of 200 diners- on the main tourist blvd. Hotel recommended and they must get kick backs. The service attendants have zero motivation or care for their job or the customer. They are so not into their work it’s embarrassing for me to see them in the job. The frittomisto is horrid- the salad verde- was full of rotten lettuce that brought the whole dinner to a full stop. We did not wait for the pizza- we also had ordered a bottle of red wi e and willingly open to suggestions and were told to order a particular bottle and it was really bad. So- we chose to leave and pay and honestly, it was a solid decision that we are happy with. When we left the husband told the host we were leaving and wanted to pay up that the food and service were not appropriate and he apologized and was I guess without further discussion we left.
