Enjoyed the food here. As we were walking by, we saw the portions, and it looked great, so we stopped for a quick bite.. Enjoyed the beef lasagne and Pizza Blanche. The lasagne was full of flavour and creamy cheese and had a mouthwatering taste. The Pizza Blanche was made fresh, and the cheese was cheesing! ..If completely honest. Really didn't enjoy the experience here - some of the staff made us feel welcome, others not so much. As we were seated, we saw 3 other parties seated after us and were all served before us.. not sure if this was accidental or on purpose, however ot was noticeable. Overall experience was okay. Would recommend if you're hungry as the food portions are great.

Food poisoning - my girlfriend and I shared a portion of spaghetti au fruit de mer last night. Huge portions, pasta was tasty and al dente, seafood delicious and apparently, not smelling bad. There were no signs to make us suspicious about food quality and safety! Unfortunately, we both felt equally sick, and 24 hours later, we're still in bed taking medicines to recover. We had nothing else to drink or eat after this dinner, just water and white bread in the morning. This might be an isolated case, but I would expect more attention, especially from a popular business like this one. I tried to write the restaurant in private but there are no contact details in the website.

I went in the weekend with my family to have a nice meal as it looked nice from outside. However, we’ve a really bad experience. First the waiter who served us seemed really bothered by our presence and was very impatient with taking the orders or even answering to out questions. He didn’t reply to any of our ‘thank you’ and was rude. Then I asked another waiter with tattoos on his arms for chilly oil and he pretended to not hear me and even refused to come serve me until I had to ask my dad to call him. Also, it seemed they treat locals better than tourists which doesn’t make any sense. Food was okay but given the price we expected much better. Will never go back!

We were here 2 years ago for the first time and completely in love with the delicious pasta. We arrived 10 minutes before opening and were able to find a table right away. The terrace was full in no time. If you want to know for sure that you have a place at the time you want to eat, it is advisable to make a reservation. we took the lasagna and the pasta and it was fantastic. It arrived super fast. You can sit inside or outside. The service is very friendly. Definitely recommended to eat here if you are in Nice.

Villa d'Este in Nice offers very good food with big portions. We highly recommend the Rigatoni Bolognese and Lasagne. The Chicken Caesar Salad was also good. Excellent service and a great location. Highly recommend!
